Our 91 year old mother has been there since January of this year (2025). After leaving the hospital due to pneumonia we took her to the another facility only to remove her after two days of finding her in dried soiled clothes. We then took her to Carrollton Nursing & Rehabilitation Center and couldn't be happier! The staff there is kind, respectful to our Mothers needs. They have activities daily. The staff doctor is wonderful. If you want a safe, secure, respectful & friendly place for your love one - this is your place!!
Carrollton nursing home is a very dangerous place for your love my mother was there they allowed her to fall and injure herself 13 times with a broken hip cracked back several deep lashes which ultimately ended her life I am begging you do not take your loved ones there if they are there remove them as soon as possible and get them somewhere else please the place is horrible we had a circle of Care meeting with the administrators and they said they would take all the necessary actions needed to prevent her from falling and getting up from the bed and falling however the very next day she fell and broke her hip urinary tract infection was so severe the doctor said they've never seen one in that condition due to her not being changed and bathed her hair remain matted you could tell and hadn't been washed I asked them if they would help coach her into eating I got a phone call while I was at the facility being told they were actually feet helping her with her eatingmy coaching her alone when in fact I was there and they were not helping her at all a matter of fact for lunch hadn't even been brought yet but they get her for 4 days would not allow her to be on the phone I called several times finally had to travel up there when I call her on the floor with the nurse in front of her and she was talking about instruct them to call an ambulance immediately. Also all the posts that have five stars are fake you can tell that by reading them
Barbara C. is a resident and has been here since 1999. She is thankful to have been placed here. She loves the staff. Activies is the best, keeps us with lots of things to do and happy.
Do not send your love one here they have the nastiest/laziest CNAs on Carrollton side of town. Don't let your love one be taken care of by KAYCION the cna. She will only change them once & will lay them on dirty soiled sheets. If they dont talk and do for themselves they will be out of luck. Mind you she doesn't even brush their teeth. My mom just had got there and she had her for that weekend & no toothbrush in sight! Why is she in Healthcare if she can't even take care of people who can't do for themselves.
I’ve been so impressed with the level of care and attention at Carrollton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. The staff is incredibly professional and approachable. They always take time to update us on our loved one’s condition. The facility is clean, cheerful, and welcoming. You can tell the staff takes pride in what they do. It's comforting to know our family member is in a place where they’re truly cared for.
