The nurses are wonderful I’m only rating a 1 star because of how the kitchen staff treated my wife. They always got what she was supposed to have wrong and then when that skinny young girl came to her room to talk to us about it, she had an attitude and told me to take it up with her manager. I tried to talk with the manager on more than one occasion and she’s always busy. When I finally was able to get in touch with her she had the nerve to tell me my wife’s order was right. Then when I finally got them to fix her meals, I never got an apology or anything. Everything was fine when my wife was there except that god awful kitchen!

I have been very pleased with Chase City Rehab. The staff is upbeat, which makes a lot of difference in the atmosphere. It feels like a positive place to be. The medical team checks and rechecks my mother's condition to be sure she is improving. The PT and OT staff are goals driven, and have kept me posted as to my mother's progress. I feel like some skilled care facilities show one face to the visitors and another to the clients; I have heard the staff at CC interact with the residents and I believe their treatment is consistent across the board, and not just for show. But what has most boosted my confidence is the consistency with which the staff communicates with me. I am kept in the loop when it comes to the health and wellbeing of my loved one.

No one wants to see a loved one in a long term care facility, but this is one of those facilities you hope for when the situation arises!! Getting my father transferred into the facility was a very seamless process with lots of care and smiles. Most all of the nursing staff that I have encountered are very friendly and very helpful to the residents and their family while visiting. They are also above par with their attention to detail and communication regarding the resident. I absolutely love this facility and all of their workers!! Would highly recommend!!

Everyone on the administrative, medical, environmental services, and food services staff earned this 5 star rating. We placed our mother here a couple of months ago and we couldn’t be happier with this decision. Alert, clean, and delicious. A special shout out to Candi King for her knowledge or quickly obtaining the answers to our questions and her skills in following up on issues. From day 1 that still continues today, we are greeted with smiles by all employees.

From the moment I made initial contact with Chase City Health and Rehab for my father-in-laws care to the moment he was discharged, we had a fantastic experience. The admissions staff was helpful and accommodating with his intake (even working us in after hours) and the nursing staff treated him like family. His PT and OT were great about giving us updates and answering all of our questions. I would definitely recommend this facility for rehabilitative care for a loved one.
