Review for Fountain View Health and Rehabilitation 2438 E Fountain Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80910 I am deeply disappointed with the care and overall environment at this facility. Each visit, the hallways carried a strong odor of body fluids, reflecting a lack of cleanliness and attention to basic standards. Patient rooms felt outdated, gloomy, and unwelcoming. While we were assured that care would be top-notch despite the facility’s appearance, that was not our experience. Communication was another major concern. Repeatedly, we attempted to reach staff by phone—calling up to 10 times without a single answer. This level of inaccessibility is unacceptable for a healthcare facility entrusted with patient well-being. To be fair, a few staff members were caring and attentive, and I recognize that staffing challenges may exist. However, patients require consistent attention, not occasional moments of good care. Families should not feel helpless when trying to advocate for their loved ones. Unfortunately, this was the only facility available under our insurance contract, but I had hoped for a much different outcome. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this facility to others seeking quality care and a safe, supportive environment for their loved ones.

My mother has lived at Fountain View for the past year and a half and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Richard, Heidi and Heather are remarkable people who truly care for and want the best for their patients. After watching my mother be marginalized time and time again for her mental illness. I can’t express enough what it means to have someone other than our family, have my mother’s back and best interest at heart. Thank you, Fountain View. All of you have help restored my faith in the system and I couldn’t be more grateful. 🙏🏽💙

My father had his cell phone and wallet with him when he passed away. When I returned the next day to retrieve his belongings, all of the cash from his wallet was stolen. My father did not have much, and his last remaining $300 was taken from him after he passed. The facility said they would look into it, but of course, nothing was discovered.

Visited facility for my mother. The staff took all necessary precautions to make sure residents and visitors were safe. The tour was excellent and thorough. The staff was incredibly transparent and honest (just like a family). I was truly impressed with active OT and PT room and therapist(s). I would give the facility a 5 star if each resident could have their own room. I know this is not plausible because its a state guideline for Medicaid for residents to share a room, but I think its in the best interest for elderly to have their own space. But all in all the staff was amazing!

I can't speak highly enough of this care center. They are wonderful people who take very good care of my mom. They care and they are on top of all of her health needs. All of the staff are wonderful and communicate well with the family. My family is especially fond of Gloria and Carol who are the nurses that we have seen time and time again give the extra special touch. I don't know what we would do without them.
