When my grandpa was there the care was amazing! The nurses were so caring and therapists made huge improvements with him. We had some trouble with insurance when they didn’t cover what they said they would. The manager in the office was very helpful working with us and the insurance to sort it out. We had to pay a little bit but it was worth it for the care and attention we received! I don’t feel it was their fault insurance didn’t pay everything so I give them 5 stars because the staff is amazing!
Nursing staff was great. But admin not so much. When my wife was there, she had a stay that could only last 100 days for Medicare. I asked the office numerous times when that date was she had to be out, and made plans to have her out by that time. 4 days prior to that date, admin said that she was over her days and that it was all out of pocket. Admin said since it was their fault that they would not charge for the extra days. A couple months later I got a bill for those days. I called and spoke with the admin person that said their would be no charge. He said that corporate said they changed their mind, and now wants the money. I cannot leave a good review for this place when they do this to people. Feel free to contact me if you can take the charges back that you said you would. You should still have my contact number. Thank you
My Wife Carla had an Extreme Medical Event which landed her at Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane. After Stabilizing Her and after a 12 day stay. She was Transferred to Buena Vista Convalescent in Colville WA. The Medical Staff at Buena Vista were not Only Highly Professional. They were Very Personable. They Treated my wife with a Great Deal of Respect and Dignity. All the Staff were Very Pleasant and Attentive not just to her and her needs, but Consistently to the needs of every Patient being cared for under their Care. Now; One would Expect this in a Facility like Buena Vista, but not so. When my wife was placed at Avalon Convalescent in N. Spokane for Recovery after surgery a year ago. She felt as though she was in a Medical Interment Facility. She had to beg for her Meds, her Meals and help to use the Bathroom. They never let her leave her room, they also ignored her pleads for assistance. They Claimed they were overwhelmed with Patients do to Short Staffing. However this was Proven False, as they stood Outside her room chatting and laughing at whatever. Now... I only go on this Rant to Highlight the Exceptional Treatment and Care she received at Buena Vista. So.... If You or a Love One ever needs care at a Convalescent Facility living in Chewelah, Colville, Kettle Falls or the surrounding area. I Highly Recommend that You Consider Buena Vista for your Convalescent Care. So....To All the Staff at Buena Vista. I Thank You and Carla Thanks You for the Great Treatment and Care at your Facility for 12 Days..... God Bless You All..... Love Carla
Friendly staff and a clean facility. I would recommend Buena Vista to anyone including my family.
Friendly Staff. If my son ever puts me in a home this would be welcoming.
