My experience at Greenview was positive. The receptionist at the entrance was very pleasant. I found the place to be clean and organized, even though the place could use a little sprucing up. The staff, including nurses and CNA‘s were very kind and considerate
DO NOT entrust your loved ones to this facility. My elderly uncle was a resident here and tragically passed away after what I strongly believe was a series of negligent failures. He had a catheter and from my understanding, repeatedly complained of pain, but staff continually dismissed his discomfort, telling him to "stop fidgeting." It turned out he had a urinary tract infection that, in my opinion, went undiagnosed and untreated for far too long. He eventually fell — and again I’m Not a Doctor but in my opinion suffered serious facial injuries. Instead of urgency and compassion, I found a lack of attention and proper care from the director. It starts at the top. I contacted the facility director and requested a call. When she finally did reach out, I expected compassion, reflection, or at least acknowledgment of what happened. Instead, she brought a legal representative into the call without properly introducing them, offered no apology, and deflected responsibility. When I expressed my deep concern and mentioned pursuing legal action, she accused me of threatening the facility — a claim I find absurd and deeply inappropriate given the circumstances. Her final remark, "I'm blonde, I'm not easy to miss," like a joke, and a poor one. This struck me as dismissive and unprofessional — especially after discussing my uncle’s demise. If the director showed such little care and compassion on the phone you can formulate your own conclusion. Bottom line: If you are considering this facility for a loved one, I urge you to reconsider. In my experience and opinion, they failed to provide adequate care, failed to diagnose an infection with a catheter and failed to communicate effectively when I called. I experienced a failure to show basic human compassion when I spoke with the director.
My mother is on a short-term rehab and has not gone home yet but I'm able to provide a five-star review on the experience. Over the past several days they have given her great attention, courteous care and she is benefiting from it. I feel she is very safe and well cared for. Everyone has been pleasant and courteous to me and all of my questions have been answered. Due to their efforts and my mother's toughness I can see the day that she goes back home. Thank you to the entire staff at Grandview nursing. Cliff
Nice place, small and cozy. I was very impressed with a nurse, Charlie. He truly cares about the well being of the residents, always going above and beyond. Very knowledgeable.
Quiet at 6 pm -8 pm, I visited my friend and met RN Kerri, who was nice pleasant helped my friend when she asked questions about her medication. Overall the place looks old and things need better cleaning like the floors and the furniture bureaus look so overly used.
