My Sister in law , Professor Ülle Lewes from OWU, is residing at Arbors of Delaware ,Ohio. She was transferred from Kemper /Cotter house of Worthington; where she was treated very badly. We (our family) are so grateful and happy to get her to Arbors of Delaware! It is not fancy but the staff are kind and attentive and loving towards their patients. Big shout out and thanks to LaPrecious, from admissions, STNA Braedon, whose great grandfather is from Estonia (as is Ülle) and to all of the great nurses and nurses aides!

At first glance, The Arbors appears to be antiquated and dreary, but don't let that cloud your opinion of the care that is given. My wife had been in the memory care unit of a beautiful, new facility for two months before transferring to The Arbors. I came to realize that the appearance of a facility has little to do with the care that is received. Even though The Arbors is an older building, and the interior reflects that, many of the staff have worked there for years and are very experienced. Their tenure at this facility not only shows that it is a good place to work, but it allows the staff to understand the policies and procedures that are necessary to adequately care for your loved one. I've found the staff to be helpful and responsive to my wife's needs. I've seen other reviews on here complaining about the workers there. The staff are humans and no one is perfect. They deal with many stressful situations and not everything can be handled immediately. The place is clean and the food is very good - I've joined the residents for meals several times and can vouch for the quality of the food. Overall I gave The Arbors 4 stars because none of these places can be perfect, but The Arbors is good to very good. You know what they say - Don't let perfect be the enemy of good.
