I give it a two star the one in Oregon Ohio gave me h pylori and their shower chairs I had to pay my ex-wife to come and get me a shower once a week I wasn't getting any help aides were passing out the meds one nurse and 5/8 and I want to be cooked that was a barbecue in the backyard cook was it worth it 6 months and walked out like I said I caught h pylo in Oregon Ohio from shower chair feces everywhere my ex-wife has the pictures I'm sure I could get them if I need to but it was uncalled for how I was treated and I'm still in the system because of that took me 3 years to get rid of a ungodly disease
I have had the best experience with staff and my Dad likes it! Haven’t had any problems.
My Sister in law , Professor Ülle Lewes from OWU, is residing at Arbors of Delaware ,Ohio. She was transferred from Kemper /Cotter house of Worthington; where she was treated very badly. We (our family) are so grateful and happy to get her to Arbors of Delaware! It is not fancy but the staff are kind and attentive and loving towards their patients. Big shout out and thanks to LaPrecious, from admissions, STNA Braedon, whose great grandfather is from Estonia (as is Ülle) and to all of the great nurses and nurses aides!
At first glance, The Arbors appears to be antiquated and dreary, but don't let that cloud your opinion of the care that is given. My wife had been in the memory care unit of a beautiful, new facility for two months before transferring to The Arbors. I came to realize that the appearance of a facility has little to do with the care that is received. Even though The Arbors is an older building, and the interior reflects that, many of the staff have worked there for years and are very experienced. Their tenure at this facility not only shows that it is a good place to work, but it allows the staff to understand the policies and procedures that are necessary to adequately care for your loved one. I've found the staff to be helpful and responsive to my wife's needs. I've seen other reviews on here complaining about the workers there. The staff are humans and no one is perfect. They deal with many stressful situations and not everything can be handled immediately. The place is clean and the food is very good - I've joined the residents for meals several times and can vouch for the quality of the food. Overall I gave The Arbors 4 stars because none of these places can be perfect, but The Arbors is good to very good. You know what they say - Don't let perfect be the enemy of good.
Arbors at Delaware goes above and beyond to care for all residents. Exceptional nursing care, physical, occupational, and speech therapies. No matter if your goal is for rehab and return home, or to stay long term. Arbors of Delaware is a phenomenal choice for top notch quality care!
