I have lived at Parkview Care Center since October 2018 and I feel very fortunate & blessed to live here. It’s a special group of medical staff that works here, they really care about their residents. That includes the CNA’s who are the ones responsible for their personal daily needs and care around the clock which they do extremely well. The residents rooms are cleaned on a daily basis and deep cleaned every 30 days. Laundry service is great and the maintenance staff do an excellent job maintaining the building and grounds. The kitchen staff are a special group too, they are very helpful with dining needs. The taste and variety of meals are top restaurant quality. Management is very approachable and they listen to the concerns of the resident and help in any way they can. Physical therapy department is professional and provides assistance for residents therapy needs. There are many different types of things to do in the activities department along with outings for residents like going to the movies. As for the Social Services Department they are simply the best. As I mentioned before that Management is very approachable and Social Services is no exception. They are very friendly & listen to whatever concerns you may have, they will go above and beyond because they have for me. The staff here help make the holidays a lot of fun and not just the major ones like Thanksgiving & Christmas. But ones like Halloween, Easter and even Veterans Day are made special. Staff really decorate the inside and outside nicely for holidays and special occasions. There’s not much more else I can say about Parkview except that you won’t go wrong living here whether it’s short term or long term. I HIGHLY recommend Parkview Care Center for you or a loved one. 🙂

I was transferred here from the hospital over a month ago for skilled nursing and rehabilitation. The staff were helpful and accommodating and the nurses and CNA’s were cheerful, very helpful and caring; always working with me and taking their time to listen to my questions etc. The PT/OT department staff were great. Their goal was to get me prepared to go home. I appreciate them so much. I’m on Medicare past my first 20 days. Price is set by Medicare.

They have great activities for the residents and there’s always something fun going on for them. The facility is also very clean and well kept.

I unfortunately picked Parkview because I was under the impression that it was a clean kept facility. Low and behold I was duped by the photographs on this representation of google earth. So, from the hospital bed (I had serious surgery of my legs at Swiss) Made my decision .What mistake! The room was 80° I had to crack the window to let some cool air in. When my door was left open cold air rushed in the room, making the room freezing- everyone left it open. I was in a hospital gown and my room was located next to a gathering place for everyone. Hence everyone was getting an eye-full. I looked for a call light so, with my messed up legs (I could barely put weight on my legs) made it to where the ancient call light mechanism was located. Pulled a button out which turned the light on. Tried to get back in bed and almost fell! When the staff member came, was shown the call light wrapped around a light fixture five feet above the foot of the bed (thanks for telling me). Finally got to lie down and lo and behold no fitted sheet, the pillows were knotted inside of each. Felt like I was laying my head on baseballs. Looked around room and it looked as if it hasn't been painted in a decade. Paint was chipped, tape was painted over. Then it was dinner time about six pm? I got two cold-cut sandwiches and small bag of chips, yay. Finally ,like I said had surgery on my legs. I needed pain meds. Bear in mind this facility knew I was coming for almost a week. They could not help me. It took FOURTEEN HOURS to finally produce a pain pill for pain! I could not sleep all night. Most of the staff were not sympathetic ,that came in my room. All I got was "have a good night". The best part of the room was the "ancient "bathroom. Oh and going HOME ! They couldn't even provide me with a ride. Remember I couldn't put weight on my legs. No cane no walker. Your on own buddy! Oh my Uber cost me almost $60 to get home. Thank you Park view for showing me your brighter side. Oh, by the way, I gave you one star 'cause I left alive.
