Just wanted to write a review, because to have a family member not home is one of the hardest things to deal with. My mother has been a resident for a few weeks, and I have to say every single staff member has gone above and beyond. Even through the different struggles that come up, they’re always right there with an answer or plan of action. The nurses, the aids, the therapist, the doctors, all supervisors and the front desk. All uphold a respect, service, and care that all should be proud of. Thank you, Jersey Care CENTER .
The nurse on the 2nd floor is horrible smells like marijuana every weekend when we come in the morning very nasty doesnt like when you call and ask questions not a nice person at all no compassion heard she had a lot of complaints and i can guarantee nothing was done about it do not put your family in her care name is keshana callokg state about her
My husband was recently a patient at Jersey Shore Center and the staff was great with him. Adanna, Prudence, Terry Ann are excellent nurses. They are so professional and caring. Anna always kept me up to date on any changes. The therapy staff was great, especially Agata, the speech therapist. I would definitely return.
HORRIBLE and NEGLETFUL experience! One additional hour in their care my 93 year old mom would have died. I posted this on Yelp about a year ago and wanted to make sure this got posted on Google, so what happened to my Mom wont happen to your loved ones. My mom had COVID pneumonia and was on a ventilator. After a week, she recovered and went to NJ Shore Center. Unfortunately, they are understaffed and don't care when patients could potentially have life threatening issues. My mom was complaining for 21 days her red button help bell was not working. I also complained multiple times. The response we got, my mom is not pushing the button and maybe she needs a psych evaluation. Their response and no action is unforgivable.. During the 21 days my mom waited up to an hour to get assistance to move her bowels and was in severe pain. She was constantly in wet diapers. I was too trusting and after 21 days, I personally tested the red help bell. Low and behold to their surprise the signal was being routed into another room. They acknowledged, called maintenance and didn't even apologize, just heartless and cold about the whole life threatening situation. The damage was done and I noticed my mom confused with hands uncontrollably shaking on the 23rd day. I demanded she go to Monmouth medical. They called ambulance and we waited 6 hours. Never again will i put my trust with someone else, I should have called 911 myself. Hard lesson to learn. As soon as my mom got into the hospital she had a seizure. She had urinary tract infection and went into septic shock. Her blood pressure dangerously low and went into ICU. In front of my own eyes i thought my mom was having a heart attack and it would be the last time i would see her. Monmouth hospital Reacted quickly and ordered a red alert. There was 20 or so doctors and Nurses trying to revive her. Fortunately not a heart attack but dangerous lével of séptic shock. Once again, she survived and after 7 days went to an acute hospital / rehab - Encompass. My mom went there barely able to stand and within 14 days she was speed walking and healthy. She is now back home and doing well. Miraculous recovery! I can't say enough of the care and the staff at Encompass, they are the BEST. Unfortunately, NJ Shore center was the Worst and almost cost my loving and spirited mom her life. Please be very careful with your loved one, you will need to monitor them daily and be their champion, because Jersey Shore treats their patients like a number and don't care! Reply: why are you asking me to contact your complíance department. Complaint to nj department of Health has been filed and investigated. You have the report. If you cant find, i can provide the case number.
Jersey shore, nursing home and rehab facility in Jersey shore PA is not worth sending my dog. The staff is very Ignorant. My family member has been held hostage at this facility for over six months. He has requested to leave or be transferred In every way, his request has been denied. They claim they sent out transfers to facilities with no response that is a lie !!! I have called facilities and they said they have not received anything from them. They steel clothing and Personal items and money .A when you speak to staff about it, they are mean and take it out on your family member. At this time I am fed up. This faculty doing anything and everything to keep my family member host, and the only way he can leave is if he signs a waiver going against doctors policies, they treat their resident as children not as aging adults or injured adults at this time I am inquiring about a lawyer and getting the state representative involved. Never in my 20 years experience in the medical field mental health and aging. Have I Never encounter a facility like this. Someone who worked at atrium nursing facility and Philadelphia Pennsylvania someone who Worked for Ken -cress services over 20 years. The quality of life for their residents is not up to standards they are grown individuals that came to this faculty, looking for help .get better to maintain their normal life as much as possible.
