My granddaughter is staying here and she loves the staff in unit 5. They order in Pizza, McDonalds, BBQ during the week. They have parties on holidays that makes it a lot of fun. I monitor what is going on because she calls me everyday. She has no complaints. It's a hard job for staff dealing with disabled patients. My child has always been treated well. The lower ratings they recieved were from 6 years ago. They should not be judged on those. Two thumbs up and five stars. :)
I absolutely love this facility. This is a place that will care for your loved ones and treat them like family ! The staff is amazing and always go out of their way to accommodate and make the residents feel safe and comfortable. It is clean and the food is yummy! They have delicious fish and chips on Friday's in the dining room. The nurses and Aids are always kind and friendly....and the housekeeping team is on the ball ! They have lots of fun activities to do there. I would recommend this facility to anyone that has a loved one that needs care. They are the best 👌 👍
My dad was at this facility many years ago. He loved it there and was there until he passed away from cancer. The nurses then were very respectful and loving and more than willing to accommodate our family. Fast forward to current time, my Grandmother is now at this facility. She didn’t want to have to leave home, but given her current health state she needed the extra help and decided to give it a try. There is no place like home, but I’d say this is becoming a close second for her. The staff is amazing with her and the rest of our family as well. She really enjoys the activities planned for the residents when she goes. There is something for them to do every day! I am there often enough to have some of the employees to now seem as if they are part of the family. Thank you all for the amazing work you do that most others cannot!
I’ve only had issues with the social worker and my dads happy there so I deleted what the social worker did to me.
I would not recommend this place 0 percent. My dad was put in the rehab facility here. He wasn’t the best health when he went there. But when my sister took him out because he was so bad he was malnutrition, his kidneys had failed. He had fallen the wheel chair on top of him. The staff lied said he refuse meds or he was ask for different meds to help he refuse. Then we told the staff we talked to him about the meds and he will take a certain pill then they said he can’t have that med. Trash can and room was poorly taken care of . The staff was friendly at first but later not maybe because us kids was there often and ask questions. In my option I would like to see the residents be transfer. I understand short staff . I myself have worked in a nursing home. We was not allowed cell phones, walk away from our residents. Families need to no before and not have to suffer like my dad. He is in a different facility in a different town and doing better.
