I just have to say Amy with admissions has been an absolute blessing to me!! My grandmother in law has dementia among other health issues, she is in need of 24/7 long term care now and was admitted to the hospital about a week ago due to some health issues. Unfortunately the hospital no longer helps place elders in a long term facility and it is up to family to have them placed. She has been living with us and we have cared for her along with 3 young children so to say it has been hard is an understatement. Well prior to her going to the hospital we had already been trying to place her in a home with no luck, so for the past week I have called every nursing home in southaven, hernando, senatobia, olive branch, byhalia, etc… with no luck again, we have been denied, ignored, redirected, and wait listed, but Amy MADE sure she could take her and took her time to talk to me and be personally with me and get to know us and our situation. She did not brush me off or ignore me and I have just cried and cried over her helping us, especially during the holidays! She is taking her from the hospital for rehab and then after will transfer her to their long term care facility. She has made my entire year, through all the stress and tears she was the one person who lifted a weight off my shoulders and let me know everything would be okay! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! No one teaches you how to do these things as loved ones get older and understanding how it works and all the ins and outs is HARD, and by the time you need it, it’s to late and there is no one able to help. Again, I am so beyond grateful for Amy and all she has done for us!!! 🩵🩵🩵

The 2 stars is for the FEW good people who work here...the administrator who is now gone and administration staff. However the nursing staff (not rehab) the nurses themselves minus about 3 or 4 are extremely unprofessional, vindictive, negligent, and rude. Esp the ADON, and Nurse Supervisor. The DON is always conveniently out of the office, or not there when needed...no matter what day it is. If you have a LO who just needs a temp stay for rehab, your LO may do well. BUT if your LO needs long term care esp if they have dementia they will be yelled at, pushed around, forcefully cornered...and when your LO feels threatened and tries to get away or yells back they are deemed "aggressive".They then start shipping your LO off to psych hospitals. They can't stand involved relatives. They want to change your LO's care with no communication and get mad when you question why you weren't told. I wish I could upload some of the rude conversations of them yelling at me simply because I called to check on my relative. Don't choose this place if your LO has dementia....they are not trained to handle or understand the disease, the nursing staff just wants to keep them sedated. I was in love with this place at first and had nothing but positive hopes at first....don't put your loved ones here long term if you don't have to. If you don't have a choice.... check on them DAILY.

The family of Mrs.Ida Foster Wilson would like to express our gratitude for the 11 birthday celebrations that the activities director, Ms. Michelle King made unbelievably memorable moments for both my Aunt and my family. Ms.King is to be commended for her exceptional, interpersonal and communicative skills. My aunt always enjoyed her fabulous birthday parties, and Miss King made sure that they were fabulous. Miss King did everything possible to accommodate the family, to assure that everything that we needed for my Aunt to have a fantastic birthday celebration were made available. Miss King didn’t only provide us the things we needed to celebrate my Aunt’s birthday, but also to celebrate my Aunt. She was invested in doing the best job possible to assure that the birthday parties were a success. Miss King, there is no way we could ever express to you in words just how much you taking your time, your expertise and talents meant to us. You were always available to share your skills, but more importantly to share of yourself, your kindness, your caring spirit and your support. Thank you so very much for all the extra special memories we have because of you. My heart is full, My blessings are many, and I am eternally grateful for you,Miss King. God’s blessings to you and your family. Humbly, Teresa Foster Wilson and Family

This place seemed good in the beginning but is actually pitiful!!! They do not take care of the residents. The food is bad and when delivered.... the aides do not make sure it can be reached and eaten. Many are hungry. They are not watched and given blankets if cold. generally the staff does as little as possible and the management is fine with it. It is on the verge of criminal. Do not put your loved one here!!!

My Aunt, Mrs. Ida Foster Wilson is a resident at the facility located in Holly Springs MS. I am beyond pleased with the entire staff. The Director-Chris Weaver, Jamie Shaw, Aretheria Buckingham and Chanetra Echols are to be commended for their dedication, professionalism, expertise in providing phenomenal and caring services . They should also be acknowledged for their exceptional skills and abilities. These staff members are not just getting the job done, but doing their jobs because they truly care about the residence, staff and the families of the residents. The nursing staff, rehabilitation services and social workers continue to provided my Aunt with impeccable care and superb services on an ongoing daily basis. They too should be commended for a job ”Well done.” My aunt has been a residence for over 12 years and is presently the blessed age of 103 years. I am eternally grateful to the staff. I understand that the services that the staff are providing come with many challenges. My aunt is a very loving person, but she also is a person that suffered a great loss. Her son Kent died in a fire when he was 12. My aunt has struggled and continues to grieve daily. Recently, one of the staff members asked me why does she continually say ”get him out, get him out, get him out.” My response was because she’s still trying to pull her son out of the fire. You see my aunt tried to save her child .She repeatedly went back into her burning home, trying to pull her son out, it didn’t matter that she had been burned, and that she was risking her own life. Ultimately the firemen grabbed her and pulled her away. She stood there watching and watching only to see them pull her son out of the burning home. So I thank you all for your understanding. When things have been challenging for you, that you went the extra distance, and still treated my Aunt with respect and kindness. The entire staff is to be commended for their expertise, skills ,knowledge, patience, loving care and family support. The staff is so patience with my aunt and I truly appreciate it. My entire family are eternally grateful for the care rendered to my Aunt. My Aunt recently shared with a staff members, “How thankful she was to be living there. “That she receives so much care and love living at Holly Springs Health And Rehab.” So it is with much gratitude that I say thank you from my heart for all the hard work. Thank you for your determination, dedication and commitment and providing excellent loving care and services to my beloved aunt. Humbly, Teresa Foster Wilson and Family
