Reviews
To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to express my sincere gratitude to Faith Rehab and Nursing Home in Jacksboro, Texas, now known as Avir, for their exceptional professionalism and unwavering commitment to caring for their residents, particularly my mother. We were in a high intensity emergency situation when Faith Rehab and Nursing came to our rescue!! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and made to feel as though we belonged. I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude because the dedication and compassion required in this challenging line of work often go unnoticed. When someone works so hard to help your loved one regain health and comfort, simply saying “thank you” feels inadequate. However, please know that my gratitude is as heartfelt and sincere as words can express. It would be a better world if every facility could emulate the heart, compassion, and skilled care we experienced at Faith Nursing Home. I would like to extend my deepest appreciation to all the staff, nurses, and daily carers who attended to my mother. They made an incredible difference in her life. In particular, I would like to recognize: Jayce Bonnie, Sandy, Carra, Matt, Jesse Kathie, Faithlyn, Jeremy & Annie Jesse, Lexie, Makenzie, Cheyenne Danae, Cindy, Debbie, Ashlyn, Kai Bill, Dawn, Patrice, Susie, Kristi Christina, Amanda, Tammie, Michael Each of you contributed something truly special, and for that, we are forever grateful. For anyone I may have overlooked in naming, please know that my gratitude extends to you as well. With sincere appreciation, Phyllis * Daughter of Fay
I wish I could move this facility closer to me! The actual building is older and could use some upgrades BUT the people make up for that! My uncle Freddie received the best care here from the nurses to the rehabilitation department to the kitchen staff. It has been a year and I regret not doing this review sooner. Jeremy and his wife in the therapy department are ANGELS!! It was a 2 1/2 hr drive to visit and that is truly the reason we transferred him. The only con was they spoiled him terribly! lol
I am very pleased with the care my mother is receiving here , I’m 30 miles away to find her a safe place but Faith has been amazing great nurses and staff . I am reconsidering my decision now as of 10/27/23 , From the beginning I was informed her cost would be covered by Medicaid and her SS , now I’m getting billed in advance bills idk . God forbid anyone requires care in this country I guess .
My daughter is in this facility. My daughter is only 35 and also has a child of her own. Ashley worked in nursing homes for 10-12 years before she had her traumatic brain injury. Ashley has lots of ups and downs. Some days she sounds just like she was before the brain injury and other days she is so confused looking for her daughter and trying to go to work. Some other days she is just confused. She also deals with seizures, bladder, mobility and has a feeding tube as well. They prefer her to only do tube tube but they do let her eat at this facility if she chooses. From June 2020 until November 18 2021. She was in 3 facilities and they were so horrible. I'm Disgusted of the abuse and neglect that goes on in facilities that we trust taking care of our loved ones. They would tell me she knows what she is doing she worked in nursing homes for yes. I said yes she did work in nursing homes but when she is confused she doesn't remember that always. She had a TBI sometimes she's lost in her own head bless her heart. But when someone told me about this facility she's is now. we were a little hesitant because it was an hour in a half away from where we live. But we decided just to make the move. Best move ever. The Administrator , DON,ADON,MD, all the department heads to the lowest on the totem pole are Amazing. My daughter loves them all but she says Amanda the nurse is her favorite. We are so blessed she's in good hands. I don't have to worry if anything is wrong they call me right away. When I go and visit I don't leave in tears every time. I feel peaceful. I know shes in good hands. She's a pain in the butt sometimes. but thanks for all y'all do. I would vote this Nursing Home Of The Year.
Went to visit a friend. Nurses were very concerned about her and tried o do whatever it took to get her calmed down Finally the 2-10 nurse did. Thank you..you really showed your compassion even with her being difficult
