My wife and I looked at several life plan (CCRC) communities while residing in a North Cambridge condo. Ultimately we chose another retirement community. Brookhaven had offered group tours, while others had individual tours. Brookhaven had only one small apartment view, and others had two or three apartments of various sizes. The waitlist was sizable, and others were a bit less. Overall, the administrative staff at Brookhaven was less friendly, almost officious. It was almost saying, “We can afford to be this way because we have more of a waitlist.” We chose another community, where we are very happy.
This photo is not from a professional musical hall, rather it is from Brookhaven at Lexington. The amenities at this life care retirement community are simply outstanding. Having been involved with Brookhaven for so many years as a volunteer, has been incredibly fulfilling. I have recommended many of my clients whose homes I have sold to move here and all of them have loved calling Brookhaven their new home. With a very long waiting list, I highly encourage any Lexington senior who is considering moving to a community like Brookhaven within the next ten years, put your name on the waiting list now.
Very larga building. Parking was restricted. Not easy to move in or out. No specific signals. Had to ask for help to get to my event, and then from the event to my car. Very nice place but very difficult to "navegante". Plus has restaurants, assisted living, and not the right atmosphere to go to an event
My grandmother lives here, the place is amazing for all the activities to do. The staff is patient and super helpful. The grounds and community areas are crazy clean. I hope when i retire i can live here!
This is a top of the line retirement facility, there by is no other like it anywhere. The staff cater to their every whim. It must be seen to be believe. Bring your walking shoes it is huge.
