My brother Fred lived at Fairacres for the last two years. He was in Building 1, floor 1. During this time, everyday there was very pleasurable. The Staff was always loving and caring. They always had programs going on for them. They have a “Meet and Greet”, which takes place on the entry level, in a large room. They serve coffee and donuts! Everyday there is something! We were Blessed to have Fred there. He was 94, and he is in Heaven now. Seniors maintain their Dignity and Caring for their needs with compassion is their priority. Thank you to All Doctors, Nurses, and Caregivers there ! Eve Smith

My father-in-law was a patient of Faire Acres for over a decade! He had his money and clothing stolen a number of times. We believe it was the employee/s at Fair Acres. If you have a roommate that is non-verbal, your chances are higher to have things/money stolen. My father-in-law was afraid to stand up and say something because he felt that they would take his complaints out on his care. We believe a handful cared about my father-in-law but most put on a front when we were visiting. Please, Please, think twice before placing your family/friends into this facility. In conclusion, I cannot recommend Fair Acres due to a combination of the factors listed along with a long list of others.

They do not have a good level of care they are prejudice against overweight people. They did not change his catheter which lead to infection then his death, Fair Acres staff are lucky we did NOT sue them,it was was because of my Aunt that we did not. they placed Dad with a man chanting I want to die all day long he The staff did not care If you love some one don't put them in this pee smelling place

The care and communication is very good. Please note that most of the poor reviews come from staff that are unhappy. This affects treatment but these issues should be aired administratively and not as a review of patient care. We have had experience in other facilities and Fair Acres standard of care is much higher and more consistent. Money is not their motivator as it is in the private facilities. Our family has been treated with respect and genuine care.

My mother was at Fair Acres for two months before passing away this week. They couldn't have been more caring, professional, organized and thoughtful. She had been in private facilities for well over 4 years and never experienced the attention and care she received here. The compassion I received as my mom died and the attention she received in her last hours is something I'll never forget. I am truly grateful I chose Fair Acres. She was in Building 6 ground floor. I just had to give kudos to the staff. Thank you!
