We had a very positive experience here during my dad's stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and he especially liked having his own mini fridge. The Polish and Ukrainian therapist were excellent, kind, patient, and very good at what they do. His CNAs were also wonderful and took great care of him. We really appreciate the staff for making his stay so pleasant and supportive. Highly recommend!
My dad stayed here for several weeks while recovering from a hip fracture. The therapy team worked hard to help him get back on his feet with plenty of PT and OT. All of his nurses were very kind and patient with him, and his CNAs, Edmond and Jose, were amazing — we could tell he was really cared for. His room was clean and comfortable, with everything he needed — even cable TV with ESPN so he didn’t miss any football games. Visiting was easy with a simple check-in and plenty of parking. Overall, we had a great experience and really appreciate the whole team.
Avantara Nursing Facility in Long Grove has been absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and cared for. Our friend was there for rehab, and while he has his own unique needs and often requires extra reassurance, the staff handled everything with such kindness and patience. The level of care and dedication we experienced was outstanding and truly deserves recognition. A big thank you to the entire team, with special appreciation for Jose, Edmund, Jessi, Ira, Jenna, Vika, Dot, Krystyna, and Jamie—you all made a difference for our friend. Avantara Long Grove is an excellent rehab center! The facility is clean and well-organized, but what really stood out were the people. The entire team at Avantara Long Grove was wonderful, but Tatsiana P. (social worker) and Ira K. (nurse) were amazing — caring, professional, and always ready to help. They made my farther recovery so much easier and truly went above and beyond. Highly recommend this place and its wonderful staff!
Avantara Long Grove is a beautiful nursing facility. The nursing team do their very best job in taking care of residents. The staff in rehab, kitchen, social service , activity dept and management are all very professional and knowledgeable. Nurses and CNAs are the best supervised by their Director of Nursing. The DON and Administrator are always available to answer any questions and lead their team effectively. I would highly recommend this facility.
