My name is Robert L Young Jr. I’m currently been house Eastway rehab rehabilitation facility here on Easton Parkway in Louisville Kentucky. I’ve been here for a little over six years and believe me when I tell you this place was a total wreck when I got here so much stuff I’ve learned so much stuff I’ve seen so much stuff I’ve shared trying to help these people See all the things that’s going on in this place from a residence point of view. Now we didn’t went to maybe 45 administrators but we got one now it’s really on top of things. She took this place out of a muddy hole and put it on top of the land before the sun can really shine down on this place. She has bought so much brightness joy morales of things are getting done. She ain’t even taking no pressure from none of the people who are over her because she knows what needs to be done. She cares about the residents. She has a crew. That’s like it’s like they fell out of her pocket because she’s making things work. Her name is Miss Kaycee administrator here at Eastway. There’s a lot of other residents are here as well. They love what she’s doing they love what she has done if we can keep her here we would really appreciate it But everyone needs help and we don’t wanna burn out so we appreciate it if y’all would send some help for her to make sure things continue to get better as they are if you ever have any questions concerns about this place come and talk to me, Robert L Young, Jr., cause I’m gonna tell you the truth about it just like I am now. Kaycee has a nice shift. Supervisor that’s like on point. These people didn’t know who she was and she got them in order thank y’all for bringing us Kaycee and thank y’all for allowing her to get this place together. Thank you for your time.
Femm M. provided the first review, and I investigated their post. They are 100% correct. Lottie Kleire posted the very first review of Eastway on Facebook. However, Ms. Kleire is currently employed at Eastway under the name of Lottie Nicholas as Director of Nursing. On Thursday, August 7, 2025. I had a meeting with Ms. Nicholas to address the undeniable lack of care for my grandmother. Ms. Nicholas (Kleire) contacted the Kentucky Cabinet of Family and Children Services to receive verification that she could speak with me concerning my grandmother. After they provided permission for Eastway to speak with me, she did not provide any information and even suggested that I provide materials needed to care for the grooming of my grandmother (a foot bath). I immediately contacted Adult Protective Services, Jefferson County District Judges, and KCFCS. If Ms. Nicholas takes the time to deceitfully create a public review about her facility, what else is she capable of denying the truth about? This senior care facility requires new leadership. I had a meeting with Mr. Kellogg in 2023, and he was not helpful. His daughter Katelyn Kellogg posted a Google review and praised her father, without stating that she is related to the director. I am on a personal journey to ensure Eastway takes accountability. I am not just simply making a review. This is the beginning of Eastway being held accountable. I have visual documentation.
My mom passed away there. It's been almost 2 months, and we haven't gotten a letter, text, call, email with condolences, sympathy to the family...nothing. To me, this is very disrespectful to me, rude and unprofessional. If I go to a nursing home later in my life, it WILL NOT be there.
I've been here a couple weeks, hoping to get out by the end of the month. They need to hire some new cooks. The food they serve is usually bland or has way too much pepper. Last week they served raw chicken to some of the residents. Theirnmedical staff over all are great.
My experience with this facility has been overwhelmingly positive. I am impressed with how the staff interacts with the residents. I enjoy observing these care givers’ reflection on maintaining great practices and making improvements to ensure residents experience well rounded quality of care.
