My father has been to Holly Manor for respite care and rehab. The staff is wonderful, capable and willing to be helpful in every way. My dad enjoys his visits there!
2025 REVIEW - My parents have been at Holly Manor for 2 years and we are blessed to have such a caring team taking care of them. I get calls immediately with any concerns, and they are always making sure my parents are taken care of and happy. My mom is always saying how great she is treated and how nice the staff is. Thank you Holly Manor for making this decision easier for me and my family. Love, Aida __________________ I want to thank the entire staff for the great care they are providing my parents. Extremely loving and caring staff . Every time I go to visit my dad every one including the front desk are extremely nice and so caring. My dad is so happy there. He loves the food and he can’t stop talking about how nice everyone is to him.. it’s such a burden lifted knowing my dad is happy and so well taken care of…
Very kind and efficient staff. My father just moved into acute care after being in the hospital for over a week due to a broken hip. The room is quiet and warm and he’s comfortable and working on healing. Good place for that. Edit. My father has been at this facility for 5 months. my dad was not a very good patient. And REFUSED PT, (which was required) REFUSED to participate in important because of pain and general physical and mental discomfort. His doctor; Dr Miriam Garcia was fantastic. Got to the root of my dad’s leg and pain issues with an ultrasound and found he needed two angiograms to fix severe vascular issues in his legs and feet. He was on dilaudid and lots of Tylenol for months and now ….discharged and HOME still dealing with bed-bound issues but we are in NO PAIN and comfortable. I cannot stress how thankful I am to the staff who cared for a very stubborn, thick headed and verbally abusive person. Their director of social work; Rebecca was super supportive and kind. She was there for me and my mom going thru some tough times; denial, anger, sadness and eventually relief. We had to go thru a lot of plans to get dad home and organize a great deal financially and we were given ample time to prepare even with Medicare dropping dad for non compliance. Nurses: director; Bhumi, Jenny, Sam, Barack and others who I have feilded numerous calls and emails and concerns and questions all fielded with professionalism and compassion. nurses aides and custodial support were kind and thurough. Even with a foul mouthed angry dad barking at them they gave him the best care. Much love to CeeCee, Judy, Leclaire and others too numerous to name as I came in contact with many during my dad’s stay. Finally I must give a huge thanks to Paula the director who was always keeping up with me to see how I was and insuring our plans were right and generally pleasant during an unpleasant time in our lives To the comments about urine smell….listen when you get to a point in your life and you cannot control your bowels it’s gonna smell. They do all their best to change frequently And if you discredit a place based on the smell you got a lot of nerve. There are hard people at work there. Good luck and God bless
My mother went to Holly Manor for Rehab after a fall at home. Due to her declining health and her inability to live alone any longer, we decided it was time to look for Long Term Care. She was happy with the nurses and aides and decided to remain at Holly Manor. While I have witnessed a few things that could be improved upon (would love to see the facility get a major 'facelift' and a new food service), I have also witnessed a tremendous amount of compassion, love, support and kindness. The Administrative Team-Social Work, Administrator, PT/OT, and the Nursing Supervisor are extremely responsive, open to suggestions, knowledgeable and supportive. Adjusting to our 'new normal' has been difficult but the staff at HM has eased our angst. Thank you to all who have welcomed us to HM!
