I am currently looking for a long term care facility for my aging parent. I've looked at several facilities and Windsor stood out as exceptionally. The staff is friendly. The admissions director was on point and was able to answer all my questions to my satisfaction. The area was very easy to get to and it's in the area where I live. All in all its at the top of my list of long term facilities.
My sister has been a resident at this facility for approximately the past 3 years. And overall the entire staff at Windsor Quail Valley are very friendly and professional. However, I personally feel that there are some people who truly standout and go above and beyond their duties. And one of those individuals is the current Assistant Director of Nursing Daborah King. From day one when she recently joined your staff, she has been so wonderful....she has such a pleasant aura which is very welcoming. And with the job that she has, I know that she has bad days.....but you would never know it....she's always the same, so very caring. Whenever I come to visit my sister and I see Daborah, I feel a breath of fresh air because I know that no matter what happens the residents will be well taken of because she's there and because she sincerely cares. So to whom it concerns, I want you to know how great of a job she consistently does. And please acknowledge and share this commendation with her. Most Sincerely, Stephanie Francis
After visiting this location on several different occasions. I love the fact that the residents are out moving around, mingling with one another, playing different games (bingo being a favorite) and watching shows they enjoy. The meals are good, the facility is clean and well kept. All of the staff I have interacted with enjoy what they do and it shows by the care they provide. The administrator of this facility has a very welcoming personality and will go the extra mile to assure Proper care of his residents and employees alike. All in all this location is a home away from home from what I can tell .
This facility is one of the cleaner and nicer facilities that I’ve seen. The administrator and DON are always available when you need them. There’s always activities going on for the residents. The staff are very lively and care for each resident. Also the therapists are so nice and attentive.
After seeing several different facilities I found the staff here to be very friendly. The administrator Mr. Johnson, is very polite and helpful. He gives a detailed tour of the location and answers all questions without making things feel rushed although I’m sure his day is busy. Seeing the residents smile as they participated in activities was the highlight of it all. Very good job to everyone at this location and thank you for a wonderful experience.
