I don't want to even give this place 1 star. Worst place ever. I wouldn't even let my dog go there. They do not care about the residents there. The patient rooms are filthy and smell. They did not care about my mother at all. They just wanted a paycheck. Did not properly clean her. It was just a total mess. Poor communication. Nasty nurs4s to the patients. Please do not send your ove ones here.

I do not recommend this place under any circumstances. The experience was truly horrendous. Patients receive no real rehabilitation. The hygiene conditions are unacceptable, especially considering that most of the patients are elderly and unable to care for themselves. My father was admitted to this facility, and I found him in a terrible condition: his head and face were covered with a severe dermatitis. He was also speaking incoherently, as if he were confused or mentally impaired. I later discovered they were giving him a sleeping medication, but I was never told which one. After bringing him home and stopping all medications, his condition improved significantly. Today, my father is fully aware of what he says and has regained mental clarity. This proves how harmful that place was to both his physical and mental health. What’s even more troubling is that in order to be admitted there, patients are required to sign over their financial benefits. This makes the situation even more shameful. To be fair, there are a few staff members who are truly kind and dedicated, but unfortunately, they are the minority. Most of the personnel show no interest, empathy, or commitment to the well-being of the patients. To all families: do not bring your loved ones to this place. I wouldn’t recommend it even to the worst person in the world.

I really do not want to put a star on, but I have no choice... This is the worst place my grandfather has ever been. He entered for rehabilitation and after many months he still does not walk, so the supposed therapy they gave him was useless, he lost a lot of weight, his face and head skin with a lot of dermatitis due to lack of hygiene, he has his parts and black buttocks and with scarlets. horrible!!!!! There were so many bad things that I do not recommend to anyone.

I would like to sincerely, thank the staff for taking care of Stephen Sherman. This is a very tough time for everyone involved. I know the family is very grateful for the care this facility has given. Thanks again.

I have been a resident of Gateway Care Center for over a month and have had a myriad of CNAs assigned to my care. However, it is Taylor, one among others, who stands out as a favorite in my mind as an exceptional caregiver and employee of Gateway Care Center. What a beautiful kindness he has about him. He is always gentle in his care. I not only feel comfortable with him, but I also feel properly cared for. Taylor demonstrates a positive and welcoming attitude, along with a willingness and a happiness to be where he is in the moment. He unknowingly urged me to change the view I have of some of my own situations and woes. I am grateful for the care he has given me. Taylor is an asset to Gateway Care Center; he is a stellar employee. I have seen him demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills and offer new ideas and trouble-shooting plans with his co-workers. it is impressive to me to see how he contributes significantly to his team/co-workers as he fosters a positive work environment with everyone. I have seen Taylor demonstrate high levels of reliability even during high-stress situations, which contributes to the team's success. He prioritizes tasks well, adapts easily to change and unexpected situations effectively. I have seen Taylor inspire and motivate not only his team but his patients as well. His attention to detail and his commitment to excellence are reflected in his work. It is Taylor's honesty and openness that foster trustworthiness; this is why I am so comfortable in his care. To sum up, Taylor is an excellent employee of Gateway Care Center; he is reliable, positive and demonstrates a high standard work ethic. For me, Taylor sets the best example of Gateway's Success.
