I can’t say enough good things about the team at Accel. The staff here truly goes above and beyond for their residents every single day. They treat everyone with such kindness, respect, and compassion. It really feels like a family atmosphere. You can tell they genuinely care, not just about meeting needs, but about making people feel valued and comfortable. The building is welcoming, the team works together seamlessly, and the level of professionalism is outstanding. I would absolutely recommend Accel to anyone looking for a nursing facility where loved ones will be well cared for by an amazing group of people. I also want to recognize Administrator Travis, who is truly outstanding. He leads with compassion, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to the residents and staff. Cindy, the social worker, is equally amazing and goes above and beyond to support residents and their families with so much care and understanding. Both Travis and Cindy make Accel an even more special place.
I was there for 2 to 3 days back in May. My call light would go unanswered. I fell 3 times in 72 hours of being there. I notices my daughter did a review. If I could do zero stars I would. I didn't always get breakfast and had to door dash me some food to avoid my BS dropping. Beware of places that look one way on the outside. I went there to do a visit prior to being admitted and was shown the "GOOD SIDE OF THAT PLACE" My husband came from Mesquite to help get me off the floor. I heard a nursing staff tell my nurse your patient fell, but I can't help her I am too busy. I was told by staff her name was Dasia, not sure if that is correct. I received a call the next morning on a Tuesday at 5:30am asking me if I went to ER. I politely hung the phone up in that lady's face. I had a great support system, otherwise things could have been really bad for me. This is not a good place, despite some of those 4 or 5 star reviews. They probably paid those people who knows. I went after a major back surgery and it took longer to heal due to my falls. My surgeon had another patient experience the exact same treatment and he no longer refer patients to this facility. Speak up and let people know when you are treated badly. I really considered a lawsuit, but I decided to let God get these evil people.
Wonderful facility. Very well maintained. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcome. From the nurses to the front desk to the therapy team were was kind, professional, and genuinely cared about the well-being of the residents. What stood out most to me was how attentive and communicative the staff were. It gave me real peace of mind knowing loved ones were always in good hands.
Clean, spacious, with engaged staff most of the time! My father was cared for well and the facility administrator Mr. F. Pratt was exceptional with his follow through. Their Social Events are engaging and well planned. Once you know and accept care cannot possibly be at the same level as a hospital and put things in perspective, it becomes clear they are “just barely” missing 5 Stars: I have no doubt that will be soon. Almost There! Too bad there is not a 4.5 Star option 😁
The staff at Accel At Willow Bend are incredibly kind and caring. They treat our patients with genuine kindness and respect. The facility is beautiful and well-maintained. Highly recommend!
