It’s dirty and I’m in here because of pain and in one day so far I’ve had to wait 2.5 hours for a pain med twice that should be available every 4 hours . I’ve been handed ridiculous excuses and finger pointing and I know people lied saying I didnt ask them . It’s completely unacceptable. I told the nurse I needed to talk to the nursing director and she just said yeah well you should. She said she had 30 patients after numerous other BS excuses and I said yeah and I’m supposed to be one of them ! they are under staffed with incompetent people . Once again completely unacceptable. This place is nasty it has bugs running around on the floor and they splash a little cleaner and dry mop the floors in your room and the last three days I was there they didn’t bother to do that . I had to request that they clean the feces off the toilet and they did a bad job at that and you have 6 patients using 1 toilet. I was supposed to get 4 vaccines while there and it never happened they even kept telling me I was I there there for something completely different than I actually was the incompetence was incredible.
Trust the negative reviews you see and don’t bring your loved one here under any circumstances. Upon arrival, my father was scared and confused, placed in a room with two other residents without proper supervision or assistance to acclimate to his new environment. Despite my multiple reports of his fears and requests for a psych meeting to get him on appropriate meds, he lasted less than 24 hours before experiencing a delusion and an altercation with another resident occurred. The nursing home staff provided inconsistent accounts on the incident, initially describing it as a scuffle, but later claiming the other resident suffered significant injury. The facility lacks adequate staffing and resources to call itself a nursing home, let alone a memory care unit. My father, who has exhibited perfect behavior in the geri psych unit, is now unfairly labeled as “trouble“ due to Plymouth Rehab’s negligence. One peek at the admissions coordinator‘s social media posts really demonstrate the true lack of decorum in this dump. Jokes like “floor nurse scanning the chart for reasons not to accept my patient” is beyond unprofessional, and unfortunately a reality for my father and others in their care. Edit: I see I received an automated response. What is there to discuss, really? You set my father up for failure, and now he’s suffering as a result. These moments are difficult enough, and you’re taking precious time away from my family to research more competent facilities. Do better.
My mom was in a nursing home in Rockland and it was horrendous. I have moved my mom to this nursing home in Plymouth and I can say they are absolutely phenomenal!!!! Sheri and her staff work extremely hard to make sure all patients are well taken care of!!! I’m sooo happy I chose this place when I did.
Previously my Dad was a resident of Plymouth Rehab and now my Mom is. Our experience has been wonderful. Every staff member we have encountered has been caring and pleasurable. I enjoy an elevated level of comfort knowing my Mom is in caring hands. Thank you very much PRHCC staff!
I’m very impressed by the wonderful caring employees at Plymouth Rehab & Health Care especially Liz the Ambassador. I had never heard of the Ambassador Program and Liz makes an excellent Ambassador. My daughter looks forward to her visit from Liz and I have been there a few times to see what a difference Liz makes to the patients. She is caring and kind and has a wonderful way with people. You found the perfect Ambassador 😊
