To start with of course they were great and there are some good people that work there but when they didn't inform us about the COVID breakout until they had to cause they shut down the dinning room and social activities and warn visitors to wear a mask I didn't appreciate cause they knew my situation was the two people who were going to come to my house and care for me were also taking care of a 2 1/2 month old premature baby that couldn't be exposed to anything that he was to weak to fight off. Which made me have to tell them both I'd been exposed to COVID and not to come and help me. I had a very serious surgery done and couldn't be alone. They tried to make me feel bad cause I wanted to sign myself out which left me alone for days until I was repeatably tested. Rehab even thought telling me they wouldn't give me pain pills if I signed out would make me stay. Flippin redickulous to think I'd put a premature baby in danger of being exposed to COVID for pain pills. Stop and think about that for a minute. Then they knew my federal health insurance didn't cover rehab and sent them a bill after medi cal had paid the entire thing for what ever reason I can't write about cause it's only my opinion and my insurance sent me a receipt just like they have always done and listed all charges totally just shy of $9,000 and when I looked closer I saw 2 charges totally over 1,000 for speech therapy that I never had. I'm aware bills get padded but I didn't have a stroke I was recovering from leg surgery. When I called and asked about it they were speechless thinking I would never see it. They told me everything was paid and to just get rid of the bill. I of course kept it in my files like I always do. One last thing they took my shirt and bottoms to wash them and wouldn't give them back. It took me calling for days until they realized I wasn't going to let it go before they said they found it. When I picked up my shirt it reaked of smoke and I quit smoking 1 1/2 years ago. Makes me wonder how many times patients don't get their clothes back. My shirt was my brothers and had sentimental value and was very important to me and they acted like I was being unreasonable to keep calling about it. They even said we didn't find my pajama bottoms which I didn't care about. Unbelievable to say the least. My hats off to the few good employees that I appreciated caring for me but were limited in what they could do. How sad is that?
I went in to visit a patient. The lady at the front desk was very pleasant and very helpful as I was going to the patient’s room. Everybody was pleasant and not judgmental or rude to us as we walk through The hallway I had to make a couple of trips back-and-forth and no one complained. It was a wonderful experience. Thank you very much
I'll tell you what .this place has been amazing. From reading other reviews I was scared at first .but I took the tour a few time before I made a decision for my mother but I sure am glad I did choose this place for my mother .its been 21 days .I've been here every day. And i walking around and I've seen and meet almost all the staff from weekdays to the weekend staff and all are really good people always checking on my mother to make sure she is OK. She told has told me everyday when I get here these staff is so nice .and that what I like to hear from her .so 21 days here I can tell you my personal opinion .this place really care and takes the time on each patient and I thank each and every one of them 🙏🏽
My friend of 15 years is being cared for after her stroke. I'm very pleased that she is getting physical therapy 5 days a week. So many of the staff are very kind and gentle.
I was at this facility visiting a friend today for about the 4th time. I have been impressed with the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff that I have talked to each time. My friend looks well cared for and happy. 😃
