We had the pleasure of having lighthouse handle my mother’s care post upper back/lower neck surgery. My mother’s insurance and primary care team over at a local Boston hospital really dropped the ball for her after care and she ended up stating hospitalized for an additional week. A lot of the miscommunication was where she was going to have rehab done post surgery. Insurance sent us a list to see if maybe us visiting a facility would get the ball rolling. I contacted lighthouse later in the day and the very next morning the coordinator, Jannitzia called me back and we decided to go tour it. My mother was skeptical because she’s been used to Spaulding in the past. After a tour and a FaceTime call my mother was convinced and it was also very much closer to our home. Jannitzia got us right in put a room aside pending inspurande approval and prior auth. Kept in constant communication throughout the entire waiting process. Safe to say my mother stated the staff here were very attentive and never let her feel like she wasn’t cared for. I don’t do reviews usually, but this is well deserved. Thank you guys for everything. We left very pleased as a family after mom got released!
We visited Lighthouse Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center for a case conference regarding mutual patients preparing for discharge, and we were thoroughly impressed. From the moment we walked in, the facility was immaculate clean, organized, and welcoming. The environment was calm and peaceful, creating a strong sense of comfort and safety right away. Every staff member we encountered, starting with the receptionist, was kind, professional, and respectful. It’s rare to experience that level of warmth and attentiveness throughout an entire team. We had the pleasure of meeting the Director of Nursing, the Social Worker, and the Director of Rehabilitation all of whom were knowledgeable, engaged, and clearly committed to delivering excellent care. They listened attentively, answered all our questions, and demonstrated true interprofessional teamwork.
This place is TRASH I’ve had a family member who’s stayed here for a few months and was totally neglected! They didn’t bringing him to his appointments, didn’t feed him and whenever I came to visit (almost daily) he was soaking wet up to his back + was sitting in his own poo, my family had to change him!. We are blessed he was removed after having to call 911 into a safer facility. If you love your family DO NOT SEND THEM HERE!!!!
The Lighthouse provides fine nursing care to my mother. There are some special nurses to mention; Anna is so kind and caring -my mother feels comfortable with her and enjoys her company. Cheryl Griffin provides excellent care and Mirna is tolerant of my mother (at times) noncompliant nature to medication therapy. Judy is an exceptional nursing assistant, she provides care for my mother as if she was her own family member with attention to the fine details of her care. Gail
This place treats patients like garbage. My aunt was left in her own urine and feces all night due to being neglected by the nursing staff. Unacceptable!
