If you love your family member don't let them go here my sister went the whole weekend without adequate care this facility is negligent at best. Update: since my post the facility started doing better...until my mother got a call from my sister distraught expressing the harsh retaliatory treatment she's been experiencing, apparently they place her in a room by herself all day and do not perform anything that they are paid to do i call the administrator and I was sent to a full voice mailbox, in my opinion this is retaliation at its finest, praying my brother in law takes her home today
Remodel going well! Cleanliness good and housekeeping efficient! Staff friendly and helpful! Very quick to resolve issues and admin responds with respect to Mom and my family! Thankful to the Lord for Bay Harbor!! Keep up the good work! 8/25/25 *Update-Still continuing to care for Mom and remodeling is still going strong! Providing wonderful and appropriate activities for patients! The carnival Fri 8/22/25 was so much fun! Thanks Bay Harbor for a job well done!
⸻ “My dad’s stroke was missed—he could have died under their care.” This rehab facility put my father’s life in danger, and our family will never forget it. While he was under their care, his CT scan was not properly read, and a stroke was completely missed. This was not a minor mistake—this was life-threatening negligence. My dad could have died because of their failure to provide the most basic level of medical attention. We placed our trust in this facility during one of the most vulnerable times of my father’s life, but instead of care and support, we were met with incompetence and indifference. Communication with our family was poor, and we were left in the dark while my dad’s health was at risk. Watching him suffer, knowing it could have been prevented, was heartbreaking and infuriating. This was a devastating betrayal of trust. No family should have to go through the fear and anguish we did, wondering if their loved one is safe in the hands of professionals. The lack of accountability, compassion, and proper medical oversight here is alarming. I strongly warn others: do not trust this facility with the care of someone you love. The risk is far too great
The great care he received here has made his recovery so much better. He is so much improved. I would recommend to anyone. The therapy has been great also especially Anajean Carr. They made him feel like family.
