The staff is so friendly and professional. Special mention about Rosann. She cares for my brother, Joseph Maguadog, professionally and with passion. Thank you, Lakeside Nursing & Rehabilitation!
Reception and entry was courteous. Nurses and caregivers were polite and cheerful and do their jobs well. Roosevelt was a joyous and memorable staff member that connects well with patients! Overall the facility is clean and welcoming! The only reason for 4/5 stars is the noise (non stop alarms, TVs can be heard from down the hall, and other general loudness. Perhaps some of the revenue can be used for BT or wired noise cancelling headphones that connect to the TVs or phones can be provided to help patients rest in the noisy environment.
I am so disappointed in this place. From the beginning the nurse lied to me and all they do is make excuses. As mentioned below, STAY AWAY! All they do is give my father Tylenol with codine everyday, after I requested over and over to stop giving it to him this meds. Originally it was 30 minutes before PT, now it's twice a day It's like they have him on medication 24/7, my father has been hallucinating more and more and I have requested they just give him regular Tylenol but no they have to just have him drugged all day long!! He was here for rehab only! I strongly feel they are just medicating him. He was doing so good now he is just confused and sleeps all day! WTH! And all the nurse says is this is normal, hes sick. No this is not normal, he can't even carry a conversation. I have been taken care of my father for 7 yrs, this is not normal. The nurse saying he's doing an assessment and he is normal! How can u say he's normal he is not. How was he doing so much better in the beginning now he's a fall risk. Stay in bed don't get out!
The staff is wonderful and I always find my dad in good spirits, clean and comfortable.
My father in law's stay has been great. Very caring nurses, aids and staff. He loves it here. Thank you Lakeside ❤️
