Staff are accommodating, professional, listened to my request (to take a patient on an outing), said they'd notify me of the doctor's response.
The people that give good reviews are probably employed fake or have family members working there My mother was taken there to recover after a serious surgery and nothing was done to calm her pain for hours no Iv was put on total neglect And when we tried to get some help all we would get is a bad attitude from the staff One nurse had the nerve to tell another nurse (o this is the one that was expecting a 5 star hotel?) I was to upset to even deal with this kind of animals My mother is diabetic and they can care less they never check her blood pressure or even temperature The place was infested with roaches and it had a really bad cigarette smell There were other patients asking for help and no one was going to there aid , at the same time there was a gathering of medical assistant's talking about there social life instead of helping my mother or the othere patients You can totally tell those people have no empathy towards the patients there just there collecting a check I ended up taking my mother back to the emergency room Because of how bad the situation got When we arrive to the ER her pressure was hi Blood sugar levels were super low . If you love your family makes sure they never stay in a place like this .
There are minimal shining stars here and those who are shining stars are the direct care staff. I have notice the professional staff (case managers/social workers, all nurses, physicians, etc) are extremely difficult to get a hold of. After many messages over the past two weeks, no one has called back to provide updated information on loved ones. Only by waiting on hold for 10 minutes was I able to speak with someone and she indicated she could do not do anything about this because, even though a solution was provided (relaying to the appropriate department/physician a conservator has been attempting to reach them). This person attempted to blame me for staff not calling back because I did not go to their office on visits. Very argumentative/combative. Not a safe environment for family.
RUN FAR AWAY!! DO NOT LET YOUR LOVED ONES GET TRANSFERRED HERE!!! NO ONE TRULY CARES ABOUT THEIR WELL BEING. I WITNESSED IT ALL. Unsafe, unprofessional, unorganized. Its just a bunch of folks who make fun of your loved ones that get a paycheck. They coerced my loved one into signing a advanced directive after being deemed at capacity so family has no say so in her care! Pathetic. She doesn't even no what month and day it is! YOU HAVE A RIGHT TO AGREE TO THE TRANSFER...SAY NO!!!
My Dad arrived here a few days ago, suffering from pneumonia and a broken rib, after spending more than a week in two different acute hospitals. At first, we weren't too sure about this place - lots of patients in halls (later determined that it was by their choice), the facility is in just an "okay" area, and he was moved without much notice or chance to research alternatives. Having said all of that, we have been very pleased with the quality of care that he's receiving. So far. I will update this review as we get down the road. But, as of now, I wouldn't hesitate to give a good recommendation on this facility.
