SOME of the nurses were good but, my experience was having to ask for medications that were supposed to be given automatically, ME having to run around to get details on medical appointments I had coming up, and when I decided to check out of hotel hell I am getting reports from individuals who are still there telling me that the staff is bad mouthing me to the other residents and laughing about my situation. This is NOT a "skilled nursing" facility and I am guessing with the complaints about the owner/director of the facility it's time for the state to get involved
I have been to three skilled nursing places over the past six months. This is the worst there's bugs in the bathroom. CNA's never respond. I've been sitting here freezing I asked forwater. first thing this morning and still haven't received it at 3 o'clock I wouldn't advise bringing a dog here. definitely wouldn't advise bringing a relative here. They don't take care of them. The food is atrocious in an edible. It's dirty. filthy dirty Everybody now has Covid and they don't know how to handle it
Channel Islands Post Acute has done an amazing job rehabilitating my loved one. When choosing a nursing home we were skeptical about the reputation of the facility, but from my experience its been great for myself when I visit and for my loved one. The building underwent a new ownership I believe and has been doing a great job.
My grandfather has suffered 2 strokes with no hope for recovery, no facility would accept him anywhere for his rehab due to his condition. So grateful for Channel Islands Post acute and there amazing director Jackie my grandfather was accepted. In just 5 months of hard therapy the amazing staff has provided my grandfather can now move his affected side and sit on his own something he was not able to do before nor granted to ever move. My family and I are extremely greatful for this facility. All the staff is sweet amazing and knowledgeable. Thank you to all that have invested time in helping with my grandfathers recovery. Also they have an exceptional nutritional balanced diet that my grandfather really enjoys. Again thank you all.
I was placed in the Channel Island facility and I had the very best care. All the staff was top notch. The food was the highlight of my stay there.
