My 94 year old brother was at this facility for 2 weeks for physical therapy. During that time he never had a hot meal. Some meals were warm at best. He developed bed sores and asked for treatment. He never had a nurses aide or nurse address the issue. He does not have internet, consequently I am writing this review on his behalf. When a person goes to a facility for physical therapy and develops bed sores instead, there is something tragically wrong with this facility. They need to be investigated.

The skill level and care that my dad receives let our family enjoy time away when needed not worrying about dad's care when not available to be there. Great communication with all care givers.

This place is awful, no cable,no air, two shared rooms share one bathroom with no shower, 4 people to 1 toilet, Also disregard durable power of attorney that people have over loved ones. Hold family against the wants of people with decision making power. Was going to release my loved one too me, then backed out after lying about other stuff as well. This place needs to be investigated and shut down.i absolutely hate this place for my loved one who I was caring for for the last 3 years and they basically are holding her against the law and her constitutional rights. Plz don't send anyone you care about to this God awful place

Kaitlyn Moberly's profile photo

I absolutely hate this place my great grandmother was a resident here and If it were my choice she wouldn't have gone to this facility my great grandmother was in her 90s, blind, incontinent, and couldn't walk. I would visit her every week at least 2-3 times per week, and bring her food items to snack on during the night as she was a diabetic. I found out that her snacks were being eaten by staff cause how can a 90 yo woman go through two grocery bags full of snacks in 4 days. I also brought her 4 bags of popcorn and in 2 days those were all gone. Then on top of that they never got her out of bed I seen her out of bed one time and as soon as I got there they put her in bed. They never let her listen to her tv at least it was never on when I got there and I would visit anytime during the day or evening never was on and my great grandmother always loved watching the rifleman, Daniel Boone, and gun smoke. Then, I noticed her clothes shoved in the closet not nice and neat not to mention she did not have a room mate she had a private room so why isn't her room taken care of! The floor was always filthy and never mopped, swept, her beside chest of drawers had dead flowers falling on the floor, nobody threw them away like come on for real!!!! It doesn't matter that she cannot see them it matters to the family that she knows we care about her !!!! I asked her one day if she was hungry and she said she was starving because she didn't like the food they gave her so they took advantage of her being blind and never brought her something to eat when she wanted an alternative. So the next day I bought her some mcdonalds Needless to say she was only there for a couple of months before she passed !!! This is absolutely rediculous I cannot imagine why they would treat her like this !!! I felt so bad for the past last months she had on earth. Please look somewhere else for care because this is not it at all !!!!! Do better lake pointe cause this is not acceptable!!!! 😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬And while the moderator is going to say they didnt have a Moberly that died in their care that's because her last name wasn't the same as mine !!!! But that's not the point the point is take your loved ones elsewhere !!!!!

Lake Pointe Village is wonderful! The Staff are friendly, hard working, and always welcoming to new Residents. The food is great, activities are amazing, and the building is the cleanest building that I have ever been in! I have referred my own family members to Lake Pointe Village because I have that much confidence in their ability to care for my loved ones!
