My 93 year old Uncle broke his knee. He had to go to za nursing home for rehab. We are so lucky it was Progressive. They took good care of him. After 2 1/2 months he left stronger and healthier. The staff was amazing from the top all the way down. He said the food was delicious. They such care to help with all of needs. They are also there for the family of the residents. Very impressed.

You can trust Sheboygan Progressive with your Veteran's care. My husband was in the 200 wing. The care from the nursing staff and CNA's was genuine. They exhibited kindness, respect, and gentleness. They took my husband's care personally. He was NEVER neglected or disregarded. The reason why this care facility is TOP NOTCH is because the care, respect, and kindness comes from the top down. Tricia Penny is hands down the most honest, caring, personable Director I've ever come across. Her heart for Veterans and her gratefulness for their service shows in her actions. Social Worker/Case Manager Abigail exhibits genuine concern for what patients and families are going through as their loved one either goes through the rehab process or through the end of life process. She knows how to listen, not judge, and communicates excellently. My husband gives props to the gal who cuts hair and did his shaving and to the gentleman who would come in weekly with menu options. Such a patient and kind man. The cleaning staff is top notch also. My husband's heart was full of gratefulness as he departed to return home because of the care he received from the 200 Wing staff. As his wife I am overcome with thankfulness that we found Sheboygan Progressive. I not only trusted them with my husband's care but would trust them with any family member's care as well as my own should I ever need it. Don't let the Northshore Services umbrella of ownership steer you from Sheboygan Progressive. Each care facility is different and the management/administration at Sheboygan Progressive and their team of caregivers, nurses, and in house service providers do it right. They are the example of how a nursing home/SNF stay should be. We are forever grateful for them.

My husband went to progressive for rehab and we were so happy with his care. The staff were super friendly and helpful for all of our needs. The administrator and the social Worker were very resourceful with all the information we needed for Medicare assistance. I highly recommend this place for your loved ones. My husband loved the food also.

My dad was placed at Progressive October 2024. From the first day, I knew he was in a great place, despite him not really wanting to be there. Any issue or concern I had, was addressed immediately and taken care of. He was a grumpy old man but the staff sure knew how to get him to smile. I never had a doubt that he wasn't being taken care of. When my dad passed, staff went out of their way to make sure we had anything and everything we needed. I will forever be grateful to all staff and will honestly miss them. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your help and support!!

Social Worker Abby was phenomenal and truly did a wonderful job helping advocate for my mom and keeping my family in the loop while my mom was in short term rehab. Keep up the great work Abby- you’re making a difference!! On the flip side, the food was awful for my mom at Progressive (I have pictures) AND within my mom’s 7 day stay- she lost a total of 10 LBS. My mom went into rehab to gain strength and she actually left Progressive WAY weaker than when she got discharged from the hospital. A worker named Vicki (possibly head of the nursing dept?) refused to admit to me and Abby that my mom lost that much weight and when I addressed the issue to her in the hall she was rude and condescending to me and said, “I just weighed Mary, and she’s 131LBS. I said, “no she’s not, that’s what she weighted when she first got to the facility” Thankfully Abby was there to advocate for me and she immediately reweighed my mom right there and then- and sure enough my mom did actually lose 10LBS and weighed 121.4 on day of being discharged. All in all, it was not a good experience for my mom.
