Staff has been very kind and friendly to both my father during his stay as well as the rest of our family when we visit. They always took time to explain to my dad what they were going to do before moving him or other activities. The building is a little older but everything was always clean during our visits and other residents seemed to be happy.

This place is horrible!!!! They treat the resident I go to see terrible, my long time neighbor. He has no family left. Never married he was the only child and never had kids. They are trying to keep the only person who has his best interest at heart out of his life. They shut his cell phone off and didn't tell him so he couldnt contact me or vice versa and when I went to the nursing home to let him know it had been shut off they kicked me out. Last night while there they tried kicking me out so I called the cops as instructed to do by Long Term Care Embezzlement. They do not have the right to kick you out even if it is private property. If you're not causing problems they can NOT kick you out. Which I am not causing problems, but they have been instructed by others to not let me visit. Others that are supposed to have his best interest but don't and true colors are starting to show. They are trying to say I'm causing problems so they can get me kicked out but I'm not causing problems. They are also telling this resident that he's confused and blah blah blah....he's not confused, they are trying to make him believe he's confused. When I'm there he feels comfortable and can talk and make sense. THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE...A COMPLETE DUMP. I wouldn't even give it a 1 star, but I guess you have no choice.
