I was a patient at Wolcott Hall for 2 weeks. From the moment I was admitted until I was discharged I felt very much at home. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The dietary department bent over backwards to accommodate my dietary requirements. The physical therapy and occupational therapy are both top notch. I can't think of one person who did not do their best to make my stay as comfortable as possible. I will be having another surgery in the near future and I can't think of anywhere else I rather be than Wolcott Hall. I'd like to thank each and every one of the staff for their excellent care.

From my experience, Wolcott Hall nursing home is one of the best facilities for short and long term care for the elderly in the area. It is evident the staff really cares for each resident, including my aunt who stayed here for the latter half of this year. They made her feel comfortable and well cared-for, along with patiently answering any and all questions that came about during her stay. Her therapy plan was thorough and well thought out, as she continued to heal and progress all the way through her discharge. The building rests on a picturesque landscape that makes you feel at home, something my aunt feared she would be without upon admittance. She always enjoyed the various activities her and the residents participated in and ravenously looked forward to every meal! I would highly recommend Wolcott Hall nursing center to anyone who is in search of the highest quality level of care for their loved one.

Very disappointed in this facility. My grandmother has been a resident here for 2 years, is currently on her last days with brain cancer, and the staff has been nothing but relentless towards my family and I. Absolutely mind blowing that people in this field treat patients like just another body. The staff says she is competent, yet my grandmother has not walked in 2 years, and she tells me she drove to walmart a few hours prior. Constantly hearing staff members complain about their jobs. Please pick a place where people enjoy the elderly/sick/ terminally ill patients, and are HAPPY to tend to them on their last days on this earth. SO heartbreaking to see people come into this field to take advantage of people when they are most vulnerable.

Zachary Welty is my son in law I am using his internet to write this review. My name is Darlene Barre, a patient 3 times in this facility. My name is Darlene, I am 59 years old with MS, Lupus, Antiphospholipid syndrome and other medical problems. I have now been a patient of Walcott Hall 3 times and I would not go anywhere else. The entire staff is superior, I would say 2nd to no other. From Administration pesonnel to dietary to Nurses and aides and cleaning staff, the ladies who do all the coffee hours and social activities, Adeline..admissions, Tony from the kitchen, Jane and all the girls from therapy, Judy..the oldest aid still working there after many, many years who spoiled me with a wonderful bubble bath and showers, who also on my birthday surprised me with one of her own home made afgans. Lisa and Ryan and all the other aides, (I wish I could remember all their names). The nurses, Tamara, Arshi, Laura, Kathy who even after her shift ended would come and chat with me as she knew how depressed I was with my constant battles with my medical issues, and all the others, I really do apoloize for not remembering all the other names as I am in a bit of a brain fog at this moment, the maintenance staff...THE ENTIRE STAFF deserves recognition for going above and beyond in the care of the residents/patients...they treat all of those they care for as family, and this means so much to all of us. This facility is older, not glamorous as some of the newer places. The first time I needed rehab I was a patient in one of the more modern rehabs/nursing homes for just a few days and I disliked the care so much, I transfered to this facility, and I was never happier. It is well cleaned, the food is good, and the staff is amazing. They take great care of you and all your loved ones left in their care. What more could you ask for???
