I could not be happier with the care my mom got at La Casa Via. She suffered a hip fracture and we chose La Casa Via for two weeks of skilled nursing rehab. From the point when we started looking at options Cam and her team at La Casa Via stood out. They were extremely responsive and took time to understand mom's special needs and addressed them Once there, the special attention and care continued. All nursing and CNA staff were extremely responsive - day or night. And the physio and occupational therapy teams were also top-notch in helping her become mobile again. On discharge also they went above and beyond. Not only did Cam coordinate hand off to a local home health care provider but also loaned us some of their equipment including a wheelchair for a few days till we organized our own at home. I highly recommend La Casa Via to anyone evaluating rehab/skilled nursing facilities.
Cam and her team are exceptional. Their responsiveness has moved my sister from being near death and bed-bound to walking again and making great strides in her health. My sister’s medical case is wildly complex. She has 73 separate health issues and 30 different medications. Every week, she needs to see several doctors in addition to getting to and from dialysis. Cam responds immediately to every text. The nurses are upbeat (a huge boon for recovering patients). Their openness to working as a team has been a lifesaver. I highly recommend LCV.
The whole staff, Cam, Tom, and everyone was incredible. They had tremendous attention to detail and provided excellent care to my family member after their hospitalization. They totally changed my perception of what a skilled nursing facility can be. I wouldn’t hesitate for a moment to have them take care of me or anyone in my family. In every way they went above and beyond and exhibited genuine care.
La Casa Via is truly exceptional when it comes to the staff. After my 82 year old mother broke her femur, the care she received was outstanding. Director Camalin Jones goes above and beyond her job description, personally catering to my mom's needs and making sure she felt comfortable and supported. The nurses, CNAs, and therapists were compassionate, professional and attentive. The rehab team helped my mom regain her strength with care and encouragement. I am so grateful-highly recommend!
My second stay here is now going into the history book of my life. I thank so many for the care that was given. So many kind people--- Tom Jones is a mighty man in his position. He is such a credit to the center. I am in awe in all that he does and what he knows beyond his position. The therapy department does an awesome job. Ms. Charlene is a wonderful teacher, knows pain limits, and so supportive and encouraging. Wound care nurses took their time to properly assess and communicate to nursing if orders needing changing in any way. Ron maintenance manager can fix anything and always takes the time to say hello with a smile on his face. Grateful for Cam who is always a text message away to help coordinate any and all care needed. Highly recommend this facility to anyone seeking personalized skilled nursing and outstanding physical and occupational therapy.
