So impressed with the new ownership, Stellar health group has already made drastic changes in staffing and the care. We are so happy to see the old Harrington House facility making a comeback. Great staff, great nursing care.
I would not recommend this rehab facility to anyone, especially if you care about your loved ones. My grandmother spent time here, and it was an absolute nightmare. The aides were completely neglectful. When we pressed the call button for assistance, they'd see it but never come in. If we asked for help, they'd roll their eyes and walk right out of the room even after telling them my grandmother needs to use the restroom and I can’t do it alone. It was beyond frustrating and disrespectful. The facility itself was filthy. One of the days I visited my grandmother she has ants crawling on her and clothes due to lack of basic hygienic care. She received only one shower a week and it was only because we begged for it and complained. On top of that, the food was awful. Overall, this place is a disaster, and I wouldn’t trust them with the care of anyone I love. Look elsewhere if you want your family members to be treated with dignity and respect.
Less than 1 star.. As a seasoned RN, I am appalled at the care this place provided to my uncle who is only 62 years old. He had knee replacements done and they didn’t do any PT/OT with him.. just let him rot in his bed. He is now full care.. can’t even sit up on his own, can’t bathe himself, can’t roll himself and can’t even sit in a wheelchair. We got him out of that place and sent him to Brockton Hospital. He is so severely deconditioned and unkempt. He is now going to another rehab facility that I ensured will give him the services he desperately needs. Walpole rehab should be shut down.. don’t send your loved ones there
My father in law was sent to this facility after hip surgery and they should be ashamed to call themselves a rehab. The PT was out on maternity leave and the OT was in charge of every patient in the space. After a month of almost non existent movement, we had to discharge my father in law and take him directly to the hospital where they confirmed he was so de conditioned the process of learning to walk needed to be started from scratch. He is in a phenomenal rehab now which has accomplished in two days what this abysmal facility couldn’t do in a months time. please, send your loved one somewhere else if you know what’s best for them.
Absolute worst facility I’ve ever encountered. Maids are completely uncaring and will not listen to your requests. I brought my mother here for rehab and it was useless. The maids came in to do pt for five mins then left every time. They didn’t even try. The maids were all all Haitian so I’m not sure if it’s a cultural thing to have no manners. When we were leaving they didn’t offer to help and they didn’t even wish us goodbye. If I could rate this place 0 stars I would. Spare yourself the time and energy.
