Reviews
I have served many hours as a volunteer at WSC and seen the staff demonstrate great professional care and compassion. One family member told me this home has shown much more care for her loved one here than other homes she had tried.
Since my experience several months back, all of the staff in wapello have went above and beyond to ensure a more positive experience for nor only my son but myself as well. I am happy we have gotten the opportunity to learn each other and for the sake of my dear son everyone has taken great lengths to make a better and happier environment. I'm proud to be a part of the community and wapello care, and I just want to say thank you for taking the steps to make everyone feel welcome. Good job staff God Bless
My interaction with Wapello Specialty Care comes from professional experience in healthcare having worked with Talisa, Administrator and Sarah, Director of Nursing in another setting of patient/resident care. The professionalism and care shown to those visiting families and those being cared for was with dignity and compassion for what is best for the one being cared and their loved ones.
It's very sad how you tell a family their love one was accepted on phone then we we made arrangements to get a loved one there then they change their minds. The place is horrible and do not communicate leave people hanging .
Don't send your family member here. The food is horrible, takes forever to get help, and they will let them sit without being changed for hours.
