We have had our Marine son with a sever traumatic brain injury in seven different facilities. Six of them failed him and the last one nearly killed him. To say I was not impressed is the only way I can say it without getting booted off this site. Three years ago the facility he was in sent him to the hospital and the hospital refused to return him to that facility. We scrambled and God sent us Santa Fe. He has been there for three years and has not had to go to the ER once. Words can not express what a blessing they have been. STEVEN has no short term memory. Every time he wakes up he must be reminded where he is and why. They work to acclimate him to the day. The PT program there has worked with him to get him to restore the use of his legs that were drawn up under him from a seizure. I have and will have friends who need to be cared for. I don’t hesitate to recommend them. Recently our dear friend of 50 years wife had ALS he put her there and got to be her husband not her caregiver for the last three months of her life. Would I recommend them? I have and will again.

My husband has been in several nursing/rehab centers over the past couple of years. For the past 10 months he has been in Santa Fe Nursing Home and he is receiving the best care here. The staff is really good: helpful, cheerful, quick to respond, kind and friendly. Very thankful!

The staff are very friendly! My husband, Bruce was there for 37 days this year. He arrived barely able to get around, but when he left he was getting around with a walker. Sharon, Shawn, Roger and Teresa were wonderful in PT/OT. Nursing staff led by Darrin were very knowledgeable. CNA staff and Dining team were caring! Watching the staff feed and interact with patients just touched my heart. Administrator, Joe and Jennifer along with admin. were great. PA, AZIZ has a wonderful bedside manner. Small community spirit In Weatherford, which made us feel right at home.

I would to say Thank you to all the staff at Sante fe Nursing Facility. My Mom has been a resident of of this facility for 4 years and they are all so kind and thoughtful to her. She has dementia so she travels alot in her mind. All the staff are so courteous and respectful to me, my sister and whom ever goes to visit. The nurses, CNA’s Aides and kitchen staff are very thoughtful. They have been alittle short staff but they do there very best. I thank them for all the care and love they give to my Mom. I visit my Mom frequently and not only are they good to my Mom I see how they treat other residents. It takes a special and caring person to do everything they do. Thank you Sante Fe Nursing Facility for all the love and care y'all give your residents and there families. Tina
