ALLIS CARE CENTER

I brought my mom here for a short respite stay of 6days. Days before coming my husband and I was able to meet a few staff and your the facility. Unlike other reviews, I found the facility to be clean and no trace of any fowl odors of urine of any kind. I was informed by the head administrator that a lot of changes had been made since he took over such as getting rid of the bad apples and bringing in a whole new crew of workers. Also lots of noticeable renovations projects under way to making the facility better. So the other bad reviews were probably accurate but their current status I would say has dramatically improved. The staff was awesome and my mother was so well taken care of. I loved how informative the RT (Restpitory Therapist) we're with me in keeping up with my mom's heart rates. All in all I will be using there services again when I need it.

They are consistently short staffed. As a result I've seen them take short cuts that endangers the people there. They transfer residents using hoyers by themselves. I've waited with my friend more than 30 minutes to get help. The rooms are dirty and you see dinner trays litter the hallways and dining areas. I've seen staff members laugh at the residents because of their disability. I have heard talk about how they won't go into certain rooms. When you ask for a Supervisor no one comes.

The staff makes me happy. I am happy to wake up here. I feel safe and comfortable. No gossip about other guests. When I do something improper they educate me to do it the correct way. I am well taken care of my trach is kept clean. My body is kept clean. My clothes and my room. My boys respect the staff here.

nah don't send your loved ones here... my grandma has had complaints about the workers and how they treated her. the workers are messy & lazy! ... she got sent home and was back in the hospital 2 days after due to underlying issues that allis care seen prior (bed sores she had for months & pneumonia etc. ) & didn't warn my family about them getting worse or give any medication for her while in their care... they didn't help with her speech at all which made things worse for her and ALSO allowed her clothes to get stolen or mixed up with other residents to where she had to wear other people clothes just lazy & tacky people! they don't care about their patients at all, just a check.

This place is a sham. Recently had a family member under the care of this establishment. Over the short period he was under the supervision of this staff his room was a mess, food was garbage, and the administration refused to release pertinent information to his social worker to allow him accesses to a closer facility to his immediate family. Administration couldn't afford to lose another patient and due to this white lie and lack of attention my family member passed away to causes that point to neglect. This facility should get shut down on merit of their unfit staff!
