Sunrise of Carmichael has been home to a relative of mine for the past few years, and the care, service, and activities they provide have been consistently outstanding. The team has gone above and beyond to support our loved one’s unique needs, and we truly feel like part of the Sunrise family. Their dedication has made a real difference—for both our relative and her family.

I seldom review or comment on services or products. For me to write a positive review or make a recommendation requires the service or item I am commenting on to be extraordinary. Lisa Bellini meets that criterion. In the ten months my wife has been in residence at Sunrise Senior Living of Carmichael, I have watched Ms. Bellini create, implement and maintain creative and innovative activities and programs for not only those residents who are in an assisted living environment, but also for residents who are both memory impaired and physically handicapped. These activities include not only on-site musical concerts, interactive are projects with local artists and festive holiday celebrations but also outings and field trips to such places as the Sacramento Railroad Museum and Leatherby’s Family Creamery for ice cream. And always, family and loved ones are invited to participate. Many times, at 8:30 in the evening, when I am leaving after visiting my wife, Lisa is still hard at work, pulling materials together for an event the following day or putting the finishing touches on the calendar. Though we decided to use a facility closer to family members, our experience with the Sunrise staff was excellent. Their experienced staff understands all the issues clients have when making a move to assisted living. The tour of the facility and the follow-up experience exceeded expectations. I recommend that anyone looking for a quality assisted living facility take time to visit Sunrise.

I have been a resident here for 14 years now. I now refer to Sunrise as my Home and the team members as my family. I also have many friends that are residents. I would highly recommend this community to anyone looking for a great place.
