The Heritage Inn Assisted Living and Memory Care Facility

I have had some experience with other care facilities in Virginia and elsewhere. Heritage Inn is very good, the best I've seen. The staff works hard on the basics and also pays attention to details. Both staff and management are caring professionals—things such as laundry, which are issues elsewhere, are handled easily here. Meals are served on time. It's always clean.

My mother was a resident at The Heritage Inn. It was the best possible place for her. It was like home away from home. They showed her so much love and respect. When I couldn't be there, I knew that she would be well taken care of. It was like she was with family there. I highly recommend The Heritage Inn for anyone looking for a place for a loved one or yourself. It's a warm, inviting place to be.

The staff, particularly Kelly Backe, demonstrate unwavering dedication and passion in their work. Kelly's kindness, patience, and understanding I believe have probably made a significant impact on the residents' lives, providing a sense of comfort, security, and belonging. The Heritage Inn' comes across as a warm and supportive environment, combined with employees like Kelly, sets a new standard for memory care. I'm grateful for the love and attention shown to each resident as I am told is the case, and I highly recommend this exceptional community to anyone seeking a supportive and nurturing environment for their loved ones.

23 years of my career were spent in skilled/long term care facilities while I resided in Virginia. Family events caused me to return home to NY for a while but I’m now able to return to VA in the near future. I have since retired but am excited about being able to volunteer my time to an organization. I would look no further than Heritage Inn Assisted Living and Memory Care. Prior to returning to NY, I had visited there and always found myself welcomed as if I was already family, both buildings were clean and residents appeared well cared for and engaged. I watch their activities via their Facebook site and am amazed at how much they do for all their residents. Will be returning to my home in Virginia soon and can only hope they accept me as a volunteer who I believe will fit right in with their caring, active and compassionate staff.

Can not say enough for the care of my loved one at Heritage Inn in Charlottesville. I traveled to see my friend there many times to visit and always found her clean, happy and active. This is not a ‘place to die’ but definitely a place to live and actually be loved. Executive Director never failed to be welcoming and is very engaging with all the residents. Well done Heritage Inn both assisted living and memory care.
