Do yourself and your loved one a favor before moving here and research "Brookdale staffing algorithm" to understand just how poorly run the Brookdale company has been over the last couple of years. The company relies on an algorithm instead of the needs of their residents to allocate care across locations. Unfortunately, this location is continuously understaffed and delivers subpar care to its residents. The staff turnover rate in key positions at Brookdale Kenwood is high which should be concerning for anyone considering it as a place to live.

I wish I could have selected zero stars. Many, many issues with my mother's 2 and a half year stay there. Some were shocking. I recently did a review that Brookdale sent me and wrote them that I would be willing to discuss my concerns and issues with someone from BD. No one has reached out to me.

In my opinion, the one and only reason to choose this facility is a desire to spend top dollar to inflict maximum suffering on the person you are placing. Those possessing any empathy should avoid it at all costs.

Poorly ran don't do it you better off keeping your love ones in the basement by the water heater then having them live there the place is trash upper management doesn't care had to get my family member out that place quick fast in a hurry

My grandfather was in their facility for 2 days before leaving due to lack of response and care. Paid 15,000 up front for 2 months. Now they are saying we owe 2,000 more. Ummm excuse me, he only stayed for 2 days and died a week later. So even if we did keep him there... We should be getting money back, because math. 8380.00 for each month of 15 grand and change Thank you for making this huge loss hurt so much more.
