Traditions at Camargo

I do not recommend this facility for your loved one. My father calls for help and I asked the nurse if she could bring him to the dining hall for dinner at 6PM. He had been confined to his lounge chair since 12:00 noon when I brought him back from lunch. My father requested to get coffee in dining hall to be around people. I asked the nurse to take him to dining hall. She said it was closed at 6:30 PM and hung up on me. I have a series of incidents to report to ombudsman.

We have an outstanding activity department. Our activity director goes far beyond her job. She is caring and encouraging to the senior community. Come for a personal visit an experience a truly wonderful senior living community in action.

The turnover rate for the staff is appalling and leads to inconsistent care. In 1.5 years there have been over 5 directors, heads of nursing, and several activity directors. Communication has often been challenging. That being said the current activity director has been very responsive and the current director seems to really care about the residents. The receptionists are fantastic.

Horrible facility. Good nursing. Poor cna staff because they are paid minimum wage. Administrative staff is horrible. They take your calls, Roxanne, while you are shopping. Charged for my dad another 4 days into July because he passed on June 4th and "terminated his lease. Pray for their souls.

My name is James zavisin . I’ve been here at Tradition Madeira for going on four years in April. I have been around in and out of plenty of medical Institute and I qualify misty walls as probably the best nurse that I’ve ever seen and work with. She is most conscientious about her job she remembers everything. I’ll tell you what she bird dogs medicine on order like nobody else. I really appreciate what she does for Tradition. Lovely place to live I also like the food here I like most of the people I think I’ve been a positive person with everybody that I meet and love to play bridge and I found several people that are pretty good at it. I like the singing also I sang out a lot of times in my life. I can’t think of too many other things to say about this but again to absolutely cherish Misty and what she brings to the medical staff here at Tradition.
