The Villa at Sunny Vista

Built in 1984, The Villa at Sunny Vista is a HUD-subsidized, Section 8-202*, independent living community for low income seniors over 62 and disabled adults under 62 in Colorado Springs. Under this program, all tenants pay 30% of their monthly income in rent which includes all utilities, except phone, internet and cable. The Villa has 50 one-bedroom and one-bathroom apartments with full kitchens. Newly renovated shared spaces include a common kitchen, dining room, library, exercise room, onsite coin laundry room, and casual lounging spaces on all three floors. ​Residents at The Villa are social and develop their own programming based on their passions and talents.
