Sunrise of Edina is a special place! The staff is consistently friendly, patient, and caring. You can tell they take pride in treating residents like family. A special highlight is the Director of Sales, Melanie, who is a breath of fresh air. She's not only friendly and welcoming, but she moved mountains to get my 90-year-old mother quickly moved into Sunrise after a hospital stay. She takes great care in helping families find the right fit and makes the entire process a smooth one. The daily activities are thoughtful and engaging. There's always something fun going on. The atmosphere at Sunrise is warm, comfortable, and uplifting, and you immediately get the sense that residents are safe, supported and valued here. Sunrise of Edina is a wonderful place for anyone looking for senior living with a heart.

We love Sunrise of Edina. We moved my mother-in-law here in April after she had been hospitalized for sepsis, and from the very beginning we were impressed. The Director of Sales was incredible. She was patient, compassionate, and truly committed to helping our family find the right fit. She answered every question and coordinated the move in what felt like record time. Very quickly, we realized my mother-in-law had not been receiving the care she needed at her previous community. The contrast was striking. Sunrise has so many more caregivers on staff, and the staff are loving, gentle, and attentive. We visit nearly every day, and it is obvious how much they care. They take the time to do my mother-in-law’s hair in adorable French braids, encourage her to join in with singing and other activities, and make sure she is comfortable at all times. As her dementia progresses, they have offered thoughtful suggestions and approaches, and we feel supported and informed every step of the way. We have also gotten to know the Executive Director, and it is easy to see why the community runs so well. She is kind, compassionate, and organized. She is exactly who you would want running the place where your loved one lives. We only wish we had moved her sooner. Sunrise of Edina has made an incredible difference in her quality of life and in our peace of mind. Highly recommend.

During the short time of my family's involvement with Sunrise, it quickly became apparent that professionalism and compassion ruled the day. The staff, from administration on down, went out of its way to help, support, and comfort my wife, me, and my visiting sister. We felt informed and cared for with our needs met. Excellent facilities. In general, I was highly impressed with the Sunrise experience, and would highly recommend a close look. There will be no disappointment.

This is an excellent place to live out your or your loved one's last days, months, or years! I've lived here for about two years now, enjoying a room of my own, kept clean by maid service. My laundry is done weekly for me, and delicious meals are served 3X's daily in a beautiful dining room (or in your room if needed). Activities such as games are offered daily, as well as trips to museums, restaurants, and (my favorite) boat rides and fishing! I'm sure there isn't a nicer, more beautiful, friendlier place to live! Come see for yourself!

Don’t let your loved ones live here unless you’re okay with intoxicated workers!!! The whole staff and facility know about their lead caregiver being intoxicated while working and “caring” for our loved ones! Conner crouch has know about this for a while and does nothing about this. He’s been told numerous times and keeps this person as their LEAD CAREGIVER. Falling over in the building, fighting with people out in the parking lot. Put your loved ones in a place where there is actual management and care!!!
