Brookdale Cushing Park

Brookdale Cushing Park has been the perfect partner in helping my mom live the last chapter of her life with Alz. Considering how terrible her disease is, she receives wonderful and transparent care. The staff has always been kind and attentive to her and our family's needs. Her care team continues to be the silver lining of her current life. Thank you to all.

We were recommended to Brookdale by two other people who had relatives there they said Brookdale is excellent. We are grateful for the recommendation they were so right we love Brookdale and the Brookdale Staff Sincerely Diane M Erich

Overall the staff and place is ecellant, but has my mother stayed on, it became worse, food is excellent and dining staff is wonderful. Their activities are the same every week nothing new, for what you are paying, we paid extra for meds, showers etc, we would go and see my mother and she had the same outfit on for 3 days, and then had to pay to fhave compession socks put on. She had a problem with a leak in her ceiling, damaged her furniture, they would not have it repaired and the repairs to the ceiling were awful. I complained about the smell of urine, multiple times, and got nowhere with management, when you have any problems or complaints Nancy was very rude and not at all interested in your isssues. For a long term place I would not recommend it, for the money they charge.

Now that my brother is on Hospice the care in the Memory Care unit remains amazing. FaceTime (FT) for his family, who live hundreds of miles away, is very useful and the workers do their best to have him ready for FT which can be scheduled in very short time on the same day of request. Thank you, hands-on Caretakers.

Brookdale Cushing Park has done an excellent job of protecting their residents and associates during the Covid-19 pandemic. They have had a very minimal number of positive testings for the virus. I am especially happy for the weekly zoom calls with the families to update us on how our loved ones are doing. They are open to questions and suggestions at any time. These people have gone above and beyond. Kudos to Brookdale Cushing Park and the wonderful staff working there!
