Atria Glen Cove

I sold my home and came to Atria Glen Cove and they received me very well. Provided an excellent room to live in and excellent meals to keep me healthy. I met the wonderful people who manages Atria. Very pleasant people and pleasant to work with.

My Aunt loves it here! All of the staff are very friendly & accommodating. We are especially grateful to Ms. Ashley Daudier & Ms. Jennifer Myvett for their support and commitment.

With the incredible challenges that Covid-19 has presented in keeping residents safe and healthy in Assisted Living Facilities, ATRIA Glen Cove stands out as a leader in quality care. As an entertainer working in Assisted Facilities all over New York, I get to observe how the staff treat the residents (from my perspective) and how well facilities run. I have to say that ATRIA Glen Cove is very impressive. From an activities point of view, I am so impressed with how Jody Lloyd-Weber has implemented entertainment, exercise and other stimulated programs on virtual, as well as live in the facility -whenever possible. I have known Jody for many years and have worked with her at other facilities. She always brings an excellent standard of therapeutic recreation to her department. Jody knows that if I were to see anything less than excellent treatment of the residents from staff of any department, I would bring it to her attention. I have observed how well the ATRIA Glen Cove staff relates to the residents, and can honestly say that I've seen nothing less than being treated with kindness and respect. I would even venture to say, with love. To me, it seems like there are a lot of happy residents here. Maybe it has something to do with how the residents and facility always look so well cared for. The Atria Glen Cove is a such a beautiful place. Impeccably clean, kind, caring and friendly staff. It is always a pleasure visiting. Dedication to its residents is unparalleled. The amount of love and genuine care for the residents well being is felt as soon as you walk in the door. I have never seen a higher level of professionalism and engagement between residents and staff.

Lifestyle changes are difficult. My decision to transition from my own home to the Atria ranks among my best. What I have found in Atria is a real community. A combination of independence and camaraderie, a variety of interesting and challenging activities, and a caring staff that has become family along with friends with whom I have bonded and enjoy and share great adventures.
