Arden Courts of Glen Ellyn

I Recently tour this facility for my loved one. On the outside looks very nice, but on the inside, it didn’t look very nice to me. I was touring in the afternoon and the staff didn’t seem very friendly or the front desk people everybody seem to be extremely burnt out and tired. It’s also extremely small and it seems like the lowest census compare compared to the other Arden courts. I toured this past week.

I recently visited Arden Courts for a Glen Ellyn Chamber of Commerce member meeting. Monika, and the entire Arden Courts staff, were very courteous and welcoming. The location was perfect for hosting our event. We were also given a facility tour. I love how thoughtfully planned out the design and other elements are. Based on what I saw, I would trust Arden Courts for a family member with memory issues.

Be careful working here they’re known for hiring theirfamily members and allowing nurse to sleep in an empty room And their caregivers at night can’t get a break because they can’t find their nurses and if there’s an emergency At night, you’re not gonna be able to get a hold of your nurse because she’s completely passed out in a empty room . With a pay being so low, I can totally see why they can’t hire any staff. They only care about their agencies. They also have a staff member on 2nd no for verbally abusing staff and all Lynn does is laugh And the reason they been through so many companies is they keep getting sue because the staff sucks They allow a nurse to sleep in a empty room for 5 hours every night and a cna bring a pillow and blanket to sleep but apparently me sleeping for ten minutes means I loss all my doubles and couldn’t do them no more And because you guys pay so low, I needed those doubles and now I had to quit because I couldn’t afford to keep working for you guys. I mean, the other employee that sleeps all night those doubles or shall I say triple by working next-door when she ain’t working a double at Arden she’ll do a triple and since the night nurse thinks it was me who reported her and decided to make a fake report against me. Guess what that’s a form of retaliation just so you know it gonna be more money in my pocket.shall I say good luck

Be careful about moving your loved one here they clearly don’t care about them. The nurse at night is asleep for the whole entire night shift and when you call her for an issue, she don’t respond. All she does is sleep in an empty room and the manager here has got to complain about me dozing off guess what I’m entitled to a 30 minute break and I can’t get one because the nurse is asleep the whole night.

From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and reassured that our loved one was in the best hands. The staff is not only highly trained but also genuinely compassionate and attentive, treating residents like family. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed to provide a safe and comfortable environment for those with memory-related conditions. The activities and programs are engaging, helping residents stay active and socially connected. It’s clear that the team goes above and beyond to ensure each resident receives personalized care tailored to their needs.
