Brookdale Crown Point

I want to first remind all who are looking for a memory care facility: no facility is perfect and there will always be challenges to work through. Although it’s difficult at times to remember, your caregivers have a nearly impossible job, yet they show up and serve selflessly every day. Please respect and love on the staff members who are caring for your precious family member! Address mistakes and concerns respectfully and directly and work with your caregivers for resolutions. Having said all that… We have SERIOUS love for the Brookdale Crown Point staff! Our deepest thanks to Kim, Velaine, Marcie, Sally, Debbie, Renarda, Patricia, Jennifer and so many others for making our Aunt's transition to Memory Care this past year so full of peace, comfort, joy and laughter. Within a week of our Aunt's move, they had her out on a pizza party outing! Since she is typically a very solitary person, this was a miraculous occurrence. The facility is clean, the people are patient and caring and clearly love the residents as if they were their own family. Myrna is an incredible chef who had our normally picky eater cleaning her plate at meals. Beverly even creates a personalized "Life Story" shadow box outside each resident's room, sharing precious details of their lives and families with other residents and visitors. This is a special touch that proves how much the residents here are respected and loved. There is also a family portal where you can upload photos to share with your loved one at any time, and the staff shares photos showing what they're busy doing in the facility. Brookdale Crown Point has been such a special gift to this resident's family. We’re forever grateful to all the Memory Care Heroes at BCP!

Another fun family night at Brookdale Crown Point. Fair themed event, popcorn, cotton candy, walking tacos, fun games. Great job by the Brookdale staff bringing a old fashioned summer vibe for us all to enjoy, including pie in the face!!

No place is perfect. But of the places I visited, Brookdale Crown Point and its setup, suited my loved one the best. Most of the caregivers and all of the management staff will do almost anything to help the residents. I have seen our director, activities director, head nurse, cooks doing jobs that are not theirs, going above and beyond. The residents and staff become like our families. I'm sorry my loved one has to be here, but for us it is the best place to be.

Brookdale at Crown Point is wonderful! My dad is so happy here. All the staff is friendly and loving. The food is great and they have activities for everyone. The nursing staff takes good care of everyone too. We couldn’t be happier with this community.

For most, this is a difficult decision and season to place a loved one in a memory care facility. Marci and her team at Brookdale Crown make the transition so much easier. They are warm, loving, attentive, and personable. My brother and I had to place our dad there and they immediately made us feel welcome and family. No matter what the issue was with dad, they immediately addressed it. They were fanatics with managing dad’s medicine, making sure he had all his meals, and that his room was cleaned. Ms. Beverly, the activities director, was amazing. We would highly recommend this facility. Give Mari a call a call.
