The Villas at Baer Creek

Our father was at the Villas for 11 months before his passing. The small family atmosphere was ideal for his needs. The location on the bank of Baer Creek is very pleasant and provides a great outdoor atmosphere. The staff is very attentive and friendly and I would highly recommend the Villas for anyone needing their services.

A really great little Assisted Living Facility! The staff is attentive and get to know the residents and will even custom prepare some food dishes on request. They provide a lot of activities for the residents and try really hard to accommodate their needs. As a nurse I visit a lot of facilities. There are some I wouldn't recommend. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Villas to someone looking for assisted living. Not as fancy as some of the newer, bigger facilities, but they more than make up for it in their amazing care of their residents.

My 93 y/o father-in-law was a resident for 15 months until his passing. We are big fans of The Villas. The staff was the highlight for us - very caring and observant. We don't want to single anyone out because I know we'll forget someone but you'll figure out pretty quick who is pulling the load. The small size of the facility meant our elder was being monitored throughout the day. The staff allowed my father-in-law's 20 pound dog to stay there (for an appropriate fee) and that was a HUGE benefit for our elder. The room and common areas are clean, well kept, and kept at the right temperature. Despite the small size of the facility the activities director does her best to get the residents engaged with different stuff. Meals were good and they catered to reasonable individual needs. Our elder gained weight! Towards the end of my father-in-law's time the staff really showed their compassion. They were caring, concerned, and sought to make him as comfortable as possible. One thought that will always stay with us is the sense of loss demonstrated by members of the staff after our elder passed.

When we moved my grandparents into The Villas last year, we really were drawn to the fact that it is a smaller care facility. It seemed cozier than what you might find in the larger facilities. The staff here is so great! I can't even begin to tell you how great they have been to work with us and my grandparents. They are nothing but kind and patient. They really do care about their residents. They were right there with us, helping wherever they could, as my grandfather's health declined and with his eventual passing. Since then they have been wonderful to help be there for my grandmother in her grief. We are grateful to have found The Villas for my grandparents.

If there was a way to give The Villas @ Baer Creek 10 Stars I would jump at the chance! The beauty and atmosphere of the actual building is great and does not have the typical "feel" of other assisted living facilities. This is a smaller Facility with only about 15- 16 residencies and so it always feels like a family. It is free from alot of the issues that come with larger facilities with things like Laundry, upkeep, responsiveness to family and Patient/resident etc. It is beautiful, always well taken care of and immaculate. I had my mom living there for 3 years. Not only did she get excellent care but The ENTIRE staff including Cooks , Handyman, Actiivities Director, Kat and Director, Cara gave so much love to her and were never to busy to have "one on one " Visits and to take time when she was having a hard day emotionally. Their response time to Residents "call Buttons" was very fast. With the Covid - 19 Restrictions and family not being able to be with Mom, we felt so much peace in knowing how loved Mom was by all at The Villas and that she was not alone and well taken care of. Even the residents showed so much love and caring to one another. If you are looking for yourself or for your loved one, I highly recommend you consider choosing The Villas @ Baer Creek.
