American House Kentwood Riverstone

Since new campus leadership changes back in November, I have really seen this community grow. They have the right people in the right place to take care of our seniors. Small, quiet community with great staff! It’s been great working with this team and I always look forward to my weekly visits to this community.

American House of Kentwood is totally amazing! Excellent staff with very efficient resident care. Very home like and family oriented. It is wonderful! I highly recommend the Cobblestone building whose staff is very caring and compassionate with excellent care. My husband lived there 3 years and we had no complaints at all.

Since January the new E.D.Stacey Keast has taken over the kentwood buildings have become so much more welcoming. And it seems the morale of the employees is at an all time high. The entire environment is so much more positive and relaxing. American house should be very thankful and proud of the decision made to bring Stacey on board. Can’t wait to see how far she can take this community in the near future.

This facility should be shut down permanently. 2 deaths due to negligence of care to tenants within weeks of each other, if not less last summer. If there was negative star ratings they would get those. I am shocked to see they are still around. Please, do all of your research before placing a loved one in their care. My grandpa deserved better, and my family as well. Things did not have to happen the way they did. And the fact that another resident was lost in the same place, left alone, and drown in a pond on site…before this case itself is/was resolved (never will be…) says way too much about the standards had by others and the company itself. SHUT DOWN, or at the least…be held accountable.

I've gone to visit an old neighbor a few times, the nurse aids have been very nice, that's where it ends. His cloths aren't folded properly and many socks missing...laundry not great. Bathroom not clean especially around bottom of toilet area. He had open boxes of adult diapers in his rm, open and unopened creating a fall hazard. I plan on calling the administration to make sure they are aware. His hamper was full and room and hall smelled like urine. This is not my first visit and I was hoping it got better.
