Ecumen Seasons at Maplewood
Ecumen Seasons at Maplewood
Ecumen Seasons at Maplewood is a licensed housing with services located in Maplewood, Minnesota. Minnesota Housing with Services establishments are registered establishments that provide or arrange for supportive or healthcare services. This is separate from but often combined with Assisted Living facility licensure.
Services may include assistance with daily living activities, medication management, health monitoring, meals, housekeeping, personal care, and coordination of healthcare services. The specific services are determined by individual service agreements.
Who We Serve: Housing with Services serves adults who need varying levels of assistance and wish to receive services in their own apartment or living unit rather than in a traditional care facility.
Licensing: Registered with the Minnesota Department of Health under Minnesota Statutes, section 144D.
Payment Options: In Minnesota, Medicaid may help pay for assisted living through the Elderly Waiver (EW). Eligibility is based on both financial and functional criteria. Contact Minnesota Department of Human Services or visit https://mn.gov/dhs/people-we-serve/seniors/services/ to learn about eligibility requirements and how to apply. Wait lists are common for waiver programs, so applying early is recommended.
Families researching assisted living options should verify the facility's current license status, review any inspection reports, and schedule a visit to assess whether the environment and services meet their loved one's needs. For more information about assisted living regulations in Minnesota, visit Minnesota Department of Health.
Licensing requirements and regulations may change. We recommend verifying current requirements directly with your state's licensing agency.

My mom has been in memory care at Seasons for about a year. Her room is really lovely and we have been so appreciative of the staff. They are kind, relational, and manage to connect with residents as individuals even though there is a lot going on in terms of residents' needs each day. Beyond memory care it seems that just about every staff member we pass in the hallway knows my mom by name. It feels like everyone, from receptionist to the custodian care about the people who live there. I feel very fortunate to have her there.
What a beautiful place. I love visiting here. Lots of activities and room for the guests to move around. And the coffee in the first floor lounge is great. I usually take some up to my friend when I visit. The staff are very helpful and really take care of their guests. I love it when they paint the ladys' fingernails every Thursday. They take care of their physical, emotional and spiritual needs. The staff deserve a pat on the back. It's not a glamorous job, but it means a lot to guests and their families. We should all be so blessed.
Your loved ones are not a burden, do your best to find the best facilities to take care of your family member. This place in my opinion let my grandma down. She suffered from Lewy bodies dementia that is an insufferable disease. You would expect constant watch or at least when unable to assist to have means to protect those with memory issues. Needless to say, she fell and injured her hip that led to her untimely death. She didn’t die from her disease but rather something that is preventable if given proper procedures. To me this is a money mill for your loved ones. I will never do this to my own parents and wish my family had done their research. So again, stress finding better places than those with crabby nurses that find your loved one a burden and probably could not care less if they pass. One out, one to come in. May she rest in eternal peace. Died December 4, 2024. 22 days before Christmas.
Not only is the Staff superb, so are the residents… It’s been delightful living here, and there are plenty of activities to choose from. I find the foods good and filling, but there are plenty of other choices if you don’t care for the daily special.
Seasons at Maplewood is a wonderful place. My mom lives in the memory care unit. The staff are so caring and nice to her. She struggles some days and I hear how people comfort her. It’s beautiful! The activities team is fantastic. There are always fun things going on and keeping my mom busy is appreciated. Even in her Alzheimer’s, my mom tells me , “how nice and helpful everyone is arnd here”. I recommend SAM , very friendly staff, good communication.
