You will not find a better place for care for your loved one, I promise. My close family member lived here for 3 years until her passing and we have been so grateful to have found a perfect home for her. The attention to details by the owners, Jennifer and Patrick, the beautiful decorations we all so loved, the fun activities and musical guests, the low turnover of staff, the constant attention to adjusting her care needs as they progressed, and the genuine care and love she received were truly a Godsend. A special shout out to the House Director extraordinaire, Bridget and her hard work and dedication in making Emerald Grove Central the best it can be....and it truly is!

My friend's recent experience with Emerald Groves Central and their promise to her failed miserably. The owners Patrick & Jennifer were told she has ALS (Lou Gehrig's) disease. They terminated her residency because they had to go back on their word that they could take care of her. They said if her health would remain consistent and stable, they could take care of her. REALLY?? ALS is a degenerative disease. As an assisted living provider, they should understand what happens when a person has this disease. ALS is not a consistent and stable disease. I would not recommend this place at all for someone with ALS. I would also recommend that you ask if they know how to handle a choking incident (which started the termination), do they know CPR, or how to feed a person with a disability or on a feeding tube? If they don't know how to take care of someone as their condition declines, then they shouldn't be accepting such patients. What was promised didn't happen and has devastated my friend. It was cruel and caused her more stress than she needed to have in her present condition. THINK TWICE about putting a loved one in Emerald Groves Central.

Thank goodness we found Emerald Groves!! We brought my mom here for hospice care. She spent the last few months of her decade long battle with cancer being cared for by the kindest most loving staff I could have imagined. We toured many facilities before finding Emerald Groves and this facility is simply the best. The home and grounds are gorgeous, the rooms are spacious, the food is good and the staff is amazing. From our first tour with Dakota, we knew we had found the right place. Dakota was so welcoming and professional and she assured us that all of my mom's needs would be cared for. She put us immediately at ease. Throughout our stay, Dakota always made sure my mom's care was appropriate and she contacted us quickly if she had any concerns, or noticed any changes. Dakota also helped us to coordinate some supplemental private duty care, which gave us much needed respite and peace of mind during an extremely difficult time for out family. Thank you to the entire team at Emerald Groves.

Twice we had researched Emerald Groves Assisting Living in Mesa over the years and each time found them at the very top in all respects of all assisted living facilities in the east valley. In our most recent experience with Emerald Groves Central, when we placed my wife there under hospice care, we were very impressed with the professionalism and capability of the nurses, caregivers, and supervisors. They not only provided top notch for care my wife but also supported the family in many ways during this difficult time. And the owners (local) were very prompt and efficient in facilitating the placement and meeting a tight schedule for admission. A competitive-priced and well-run facility with calming décor inside and out (including the antiques!).

I was looking for a safe place for my husband to get his meals and medical treatment . I was hoping to visit my 95 year old mom in Canada. I was quoted a monthly price $5000.00. When I went to proceed with the registration a $1500 fee was tacked on. I felt like I was ambushed. Regretfully my husband developed a UTI the day after the nurse practitioner made her rounds. She came once a week. I was told that if I wanted my husband to have a medical assessment on the weekend an ambulance could would be called and the fee would be another $2000. I think my husband spent about 8 or 9 days there. There was not any respite for me. Three stars, 2 for the kind efficient intake worker and one for the aesthetic design of the facility.
