Sunrise of Minnetonka

New Perspective of Minnetonka genuinely feels like a home. The community is on the smaller side compared to other communities which means that no one falls into the cracks and gets lost. Each resident is seen as part of a larger family and many residents choose to stay for many years at a time. The staff cares about everyone with a passion that is hard to find in Assisted Living or Memory Care. All of them are there because they want to be in this field. The staff builds relationships with each family so that there is open communication about your loved one. There are not many places out there like New Perspective of Minnetonka when it comes to feeling like home, beauty of the community, and standard of care.

Never any parking in the garages because all of the employees park in them. On top of that the employees sit in their cars smoking weed on their lunch breaks. So that means they are headed back to work STONED! Not very comforting of a thought. These issues HAVE been relayed to the proper authorities and yet it seems it has fallen on deaf ears. For years

The front desk is not very helpful in trying to leave a message for one of their residents. I could not get a hold of my sister after several tries, and wanted to have them to tell her to give me a call. The girl at I talked to only talked about legalities about the place and was not very helpful. One star is more than they deserve.

I had the opportunity to tour the community this week. The rooms and amenities were very nice and clean. The staff was super friendly and welcoming as well!

Sunrise did a great job taking care of my uncle in the last 5 months of his life. Uncle Chuck's medical, nutritional and personal care needs were met with professionalism and loving care. The staff was very attentive, keeping my family informed of any issues. We are grateful to Sunrise for providing Chuck a warm and supportive place for him to live out his final days before passing at age 97.
